One of the other posters who had our first pick starting in the second round got me to thinking.  A trade consisting of Michael Brockers and their 2nd and 3rd round pick this year for our 4th pick in the draft.  We would not pick untill the second round.  But we would have a quality DT. In the second and third round we would have 4 picks.  This would give us the chance to address our needs at CB and on the Oline.

Never in their right minds would STL consider this! That would be a huge steal for them and they know Philly would never accept. This would give them three 1st rounders. Plus, we don't need a quality DT, we need a NT which should come in the form of Star Lotulelei, Jesse Williams, or some FA.

Brockers is better than any of those guys you listed.  It really helps us out also.  We get two picks in the middle of the second round that we can address needs with.  So you really mean STL would definitly take this deal.

No.  This is not worth the fourth overall selection at all

It is very similar to the ricky williams trade.  So in a sense it would be good for both.

Smost teams won't trade 2nd year players.

It was my trade with the dolphins to get a first next year instead of this year.

This is a lose lose trade.

Where would Brockers play? We already have Jenkins and Cox as the under tackle and 3/4 DE - with Graham or Cole as the other DE. We just need a nose tackle which Brockers is not.

Add one of their 1st rouders this year or even their 2014 1st and it would be better. Other than that the eagles are getting raped in thag deal. They better throw in a jar of lubrication

Are you saying you'd rather have Brockers than Lotulelei? If so, I think you need to do some more research on exactly what the Eagles need. Brockers is a natural DT, Star is a NT. The Eagles need a NT, Star is better. I don't see how you could want Brockers over Star. Even Jesse Williams is a better fit and I'd rather get him in the 2nd than Brockers.

I can see Eric Fisher helping us net a couple picks.
