He's 34, but if they don't get a NT early in the draft and instead maybe draft a "project" NT in a later round, perhaps Pouha could serve as a stopgap.

Just an idea, not saying they need to go out and get him if he's cut.

Something like this could be good if we grab a NT like Brandon Williams in the draft.

I really like Williams as a later round NT (probably 3rd) but he may not be ready right away. A one-year deal with a vet like Pouha could be a good transition.

I like this logic - pairing a solid vet with a young player like Brandon Williams.

A slightly younger option would be Isaac Sopoaga from San Francisco.  Doesn't hurt that Gamble brought him in too.

He is not injury prone.

And yes he is 34, but he's also cheap and can be stop-gap for a young NT that they draft like Kwame Geathers
