Let's all take this a little less seriously.  Take a deep breath before you post something.  The thousands of pages of threads in this forum filled with bickering about Michael Vick is revolting.  It's just a football team, guys.  There's no need for personal attacks, and endlessly arguing over meaningless stats.  Nick Foles is just a flat out better quarterback than Michael Vick.  Once we all realize that, things will be a lot more manageable around here.

Agreed.  I'm a fan of football, not some kind of football savant.  I'll watch Eagles games as long as they are entertaining, and if they stop being entertaining, I'll probably take a break.

Sometimes it's fun to egg on the skitzoids though.  Like you might be doing when you start talking about Foles vs. Vick.....

Mad?  Hardly... I try not to get mad over things that are not my control.  It's usually a waste of time.

I'm indifferent about Vick.  I respect his heart for the game, and I truly believe he wants to win in this league.  But the problem is that it might be too little, too late for him.  He's only had 1 full season as a starter in the 10+ years he's been in the league.  He turns the ball over way too much (yes, we're including fumbles) and is way too injury-prone.  Nothing would make me more happy than to see him bounce back and have a great year for the Eagles, I just don't see that happening at this point.  But I'm not "mad" that Chip decided to re-sign him at all, actually.  I would prefer that he stick around and that they have an open competition for QB.  But I'd certainly like to see more out of Foles, because the jury is still out on him and I tend to believe he'll have a decent future in the NFL.

With that being said, whoever is behind center for the Eagles I will support.  So if you're trying to troll me, or start another Vick/Foles argument, you're barking up the wrong tree buddy.
