While we slog through a long offseason, I was wondering, Dave, if you could give us some diversion.  I'm sure that in the past there has been insider info you were privy to that you just couldn't tell us here.  So how about a tale or two about some "behind the scenes" drama from the old regime about targeted players, etc to help us pass the long winter?  Come on, Dave.  Please?   There had to have been some stories that you were busting to tell us but position/circumstances did not allow.  It could make a great column.

McNabb had this stalker who would send flowers and a creepy love note to him every game, asking if he could rub oil into his tired muscles. The guy was supposedly a member of the EMB who's love notes often referenced "Naked Muay Thai".  I don't know what happened to him after the Eagles dumped McNabb but I would bet anything the freak either began some man-crush on Kolb and/or hated Vick.

What kind of a question is that?  Of course we want to hear the dirt - do you even have to ask?

You misunderstood. I wasn't looking for dirt. I was hoping for stories about how some of the deals got done. What were the 11th hour sweeteners and deal breakers. Did you think Larry  Fitzgerald might actually land here when you told us we'd have to " wait to se what cards the Eagles had up their sleeves"? Etc
