Restructure Nnamdi then package a trade including Vick to Jets for Revis and draft pick.  Jets get Vick and Nnamdi and Eagles get Revis and draft pick that we can use on Safety!

Revis is only due $6 million this season so we could definetly win if that happened.  Saves us $15 million from Nnamdi and the money Vick would have got so over $21 million in savings, minus the $6million for Revis leaves Eagles with $15 million to spend in FA fishing

There were gaping holes with Nnamdi and DRC on the field so not that worried about that. McBriar can boot the ball with good hang time. What he struggled with that Henry was really starting to excel at was that coffin corner punt. It ALWAYS landed in the endzone. So frustrating. Geno going number 1 has been a foregone conclusion in my mind unless he stinks it up big time at the combine.

Shady what you're missing is that Revis' whole issue is that he wants more money than Nnamdi or else they wouldn't even entertain trading him.

ham....we can work on the more money part after we get Revis.  He would have to finish out this season and get the $6 million and then be a FA next season.  That gives Revis this season to show he deserves more than Nnamdi which I'm sure he does, and it also gives Howie a season to work his magic on a contract with Revis.

dont be so sure. marty likes to throw the ball, and vick isnt a pocket guy, his brain doesnt function that way.  sanchez as bad as he is will go through his progressions b4 thinking run. i think marty can work around sanchez...wont be much better , but will be an improvement for sanchez.  nnamdi will restructure, we just have to get another pick i think for the second round.   if nnamdi stays which i really believe, the only 2 corners who can start opposite via draft is milliner and rhodes. 1st and second round.  elam the safety is def a high second round also. and u factor in a few of these llinebackers who are very good. free agency def holds the answers

Shady, I honestly think Marty would rather start over with a young guy back there than bring Vick or Sanchez back in. But that's just my opinion. Plus I don't think Vick wants anymore concussions or broken ribs in that system..

This article is funny.  The title is hilarious, as if there would ever be an article on the website questioning any of the current moves.  We all knew this opinion already.  Also, I'm curious how one "waits with vigorous patience".  I'm not sure vigorous and patience work together.  This is basically just a message board most of the time with an occasional discussion topic included in the article.

Howie the Great gets to do what he does best for all to see again.  After Nnamdi restructures teams will be knocking down the door to get their hands on the new Vick and Nnamdi contracts just to see how Howie is getting it done.

@cam do you really think Ryan has that long with the Jets left? Rex's job has to be on the line this year. That's why he had to take Marty. Who else would go to a one year station? The Jets D looks borderline pathetic. Their offense is inconsistent at best. That ship is sinking if you can't realize this I have tickets to sell you on the Titanic 2. They aren't cheap tickets mind you but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

It's the same scenario as Vick.  If Nnamdi gets cut there will be no way he will get a great contract in FA, he looked like boo boo on the field for Philly.  

Howie is going to keep it simple:
"You seen how I helped Vick get a deal that can possibly resurrect his career, right Nnamdi?"
"We are going to do the same for you."
"Who knows you and Vick may end up on the same team in a trade, but you will still have a decent contract and an opportunity."

It is posible that Kelly watched the 2011 season to see how the offensive lined played. All the starters were hurt during the 2012 season.

Kelly taking the right approach? The ? mark is key. We really know nothing about what Chip is up to. He restructered MV and brought in Dixon. Not exactly headline smashing stuff. And him saying that two totally different qbs will battle for the starting job tells us even less. Assumptions and guesses is all we have. So be it.

Chip didn't restructure MV that was Howie's doing.  Chip has nothing to do with contract negotiations.

Chip can say who he wants and it's up to Howie to make it happen.

Jets D wasn't as bad as it looked, they were ranked 2nd in pass defense with their best DB not even playing half the season. That great secondary kept them in the games they lost, it was just unfortunate their QBs were horrible and their WR were non existent.
