Here is where I think the EAGLE's have an upper hand in this draft:

1. Chip's knowledge of kids he may have drafted or tried to draft
2. The dude's from Alabama and their inside knowledge about players weaknesses and strengths due to the same point as #1
3. The SF connection now handling our pro player personnel dept and what he has on the scouting done for the 49'ers

I honestly think that year 2-3 will be keys for this staff NOT what is happening this year though I am convinced about 100% improvement in effort and strategy overall by players and by the staff.

I am not worried about the draft because we now have a coach and staff in place who will not do stupid things and make players do things beyond their abilities but will maximize their abilities by outcoaching and teaching better than Reid ever was capable of.

The importance of a good front office was lost during the Reid days and that mistake of giving a coach full control will not be repeated again I feel.

We know nothing at all yet on what he can or will do..We can only hope for the best ..I still hate the staff he put together but time will tell.

The structure in place is better and more sensible than Reid ever had or wanted. Reid was and is power hungry and his facade broke down where his incompetence was exposed when other teams in the NFC East got better. This cast is better and Kelly is planning well and carefully I feel.

He has started making the cuts essential to building through the draft and trust me Chip Kelly will not get speedballs with no size like Reid did. Wait and watch!

Kelly needs to understand the difference in talent, and how important talent is at the NFL level compared to the college level.  NFL rosters have 53 guys not 90 or more like in college and the players aren't interchangeable like they are in college either.

I don't think it matters , the NFL teams throw money around everywhere . They know when players are born now days and soon will be controlling birth certificates for Contracts ....
