Is it just me or is the top of round ones talent fading away before our very eyes?  Jones has a bad neck, Star has a bad ticker, and Milliner needs shoulder surgery.  Joeckel's going to the Chiefs is more and more likely with Alex Smith looking like KC property.  So that leaves us with what exactly?  After Warmack and possibly Fisher I see little else that fits our system.  Someone give me some hope out there.

A pass rusher is going to blow up the combine tomorrow and make his case for #4.  It will all fall into place perfectly.

Excluding the ones you names for those reasons, I say Chance (my top choice including the ones I excluded) or Geno at this point. I still see little possibility we get Geno so I'm all in for Chance! Chance should give you enough hope!

trade down to the 7-8 range if possible and move back into the late first round. Try to get Chance and a safety later in the first...

lot of OL Like you said fisher also Johnson, warmack (but guards don't usually go this high), Cooper is said to be gaining if not passing warmack as the top G.

What type of shoulder surgery is Milliner having? that's likely not a big deal. Even still I've heard people argue that Rhodes and trufant aren't huge steps down , if at all talent wise.

I'd still like to see them trade back grab an extra pick or two

Aldon Smith, JPP, JJ Watt, Von Miller, Peppers, and Demarcus Ware all turned out alright after destroying the combine.

Mario Williams and Kearse in between, although Kearse was derailed by injuries.

Manny Lawson, Mamula, not so much.

Have hope that Tom Gamble will be able to make the best out of a ****ty situation.  The talent may not be as obvious or deep, but at least we should (theoretically) be better at finding it.

At this point, it looks like Eric Fisher is the pick.

This is a dangerous draft for scouts and GM's.  The draft isn't devoid of talent.  There are going to be probowlers, playmakers, and all-pros that come out of the first few rounds of this draft.  The issue is that there aren't any slam dunk guys that already play at an NFL level who demand top 5-10 selections.

So for the teams with the pressure of selecting top 5, they run the risk of some painful "I told you so's" and coulda/shoulda/woulda's.

They are still going to have their pick of a talented bunch.  Just get it right.

There are a lot of good players, a lot of them just have injury risks.

if you watched college football you know those guys were beast before the combine

what i am saying is the combine should only confirm what you already know

if the eagles feel that a pass rusher could be worth the 4th pick they already have that guy slotted there

Scratch the Moore kid off the list from Texas A&M.  Just benched 12 reps at 6'4 250.  Plus apparently has multiple off the field issues.  So how bout we trade back to the 2nd half of round 1 if Fisher is gone.  We grab an extra first rounder next year and maybe an extra second this year.

It is all noise that happens every year.  Teams put out misinformation in an attempt to affect draft places.
