I wouldn't be surprised if Chip reached for him. I'm not for the pick but I see Jordan going in the top 10 the closer we get the draft. Chip's familiar with him and has all of the measurables. You're right though, if we traded down 5-10 spots and got Jordan I think it'd be a solid pick.

There is absolutely no way that Geno makes it out of the top 10 let alone the first round. jordan at 4 is ridiculous. Johnson isn't going less than 12. Milliner is likely in around the 10th pick. Nobody is spending a 5th on a CB undergoing shoulder surgery when at the top of the 2nd, there will be quality CBs available that's not a huge step down and is healthy for the OTAs. Do I really need to go on?

i like Jordan... and i feel that after today his draft stock will rise enough that 4th would be a possibility

I think Jordan's stock is right around 4.  I don't think Rhodes will go that high but it's possible

I don't think anyone sees Geno Smith as an elite QB prospect. He's ok, but I see him lasting into the second, at best a team at the top of the second trades back into the first for him. He's not worth a top pick.

Jordan may have just earned a top 5 pick with today's combine results. He's an athletic freak.

Milliner is the top corner. Detroit needs corners. Their's 5 or 6 top corners this year, and most will me gone by the time Detroit drafts again. What's so hard to understand about that?

Lane Johnson's the fourth best O linemen. He should go in the first round, but my mock has a "rush" of DE/OLB's going in the first. The strength of the first is pass rushers. He's not going in the top 10. 21st isn't that much of a reach.

Thanks for actually contributing this time though. The troll response at the beginning was not what I'd expect from someone with 8100 posts.

everyone sees smith as a top 8 pick and he was excellent all day at the combine. Even still QB needy teams historically reach for QBs.

Milliner was heavily seen as being in the 8-10 range even before word came out about the surgery which is going to make him miss OTAs. Detroit needs a lot...including pass rushers now with kvb gone and Avril a FA....which happens to be a good spot for 5 overall. No there won't be 5 or 6 CBs chosen in the first 37 picks. That's just foolish to think that.

Jordan had a great day but he was heavily regarded as a borderline top 25 pick going into the combine. He is not someone who was a best pass rusher in college. He was in coverage quite a bit...not the type of LB that typically goes top 5.

Yes Johnson is the 4th best OL. He also had a better combine than joeckel. This is a position of need for virtually every team in the league and the second most important position in football.

I think your pretty close on this one as far as the combine is playing out. Jordan is a top ten pick no doubt. Everyone that has done a mock has the DE's going top 5. Like Werner, Bingo and Moore they are a reach at this point. I would expect a QB or two go in the first. Overall pretty good.

Any mock draft with 0 QB's shouldn't be taken seriously.

NO WE CAN'T TAKE JORDAN HE NEEDS SHOULDER SURGERY AND IS A WORKOUT WARRIOR LIKE MIKE MAMULA

/sarcasm

Solid. Looks good. Just think that some teams will trade up into the back end of the first to get their QB... but NO ONE can predict those instances.

I agree with marinomanx013.  Drafting dion would be disaster for this team.  And marinomanx013, I like the offseason you have at the bottom of your sig.  I would not trade up for xavier though.  Picks 35 and 69 would bring in some needed talent.

Cyprien won't be there in 3rd.  He's the 3rd safety right now

I agree he had a great combine, but seriously is this what's it's come too? Go check out Cornelius Washington. If he's not the top pick overall I'll be shocked.
