Not resigned: DRC, everyone but king and Colt and Bos
Restructured: Nnamdi save 10 mil
FA:
Sean Smith CB Miami- looks like we have interest and could take over for DRC. Can't go into the draft with a glaring hole IMO
Pat Chung a NE- looks to be in the market and should draw attention from chip.
Sabastien Vollmer RT NE - looks to be hitting the market and he's 29 to my surprise I thought he was like 33. We could get 4 years out of him and he's very nimble. IMO the biggest need in FA is this guy. Cheap and effective.
Paul Kruger OLB Baltimore - I think we could throw our massive cap at him and get him and he fills the need of a 3-4 pass rush OLB. He may not be amazing but a need.
Delanie Walker TE SF- the perfect h-back allowing chip to release Havili as it sounds like he doesn't want a tradition FB and will carry 4 TEs. Gives us two great options at TE so far
Vet NT
Vet OL to try to make roster in camp
Draft:
1. Sharrif Floyd DT Florida - stock is on the rise and could seriously be a top 5 pick. So we take him instead of Star. Can play DT/NT/DE and he just ran a 4.87 40. Plus our front DTs are old an ineffective.
2. Matt Elam S Florida - with Cyprien on the rise and Vaccarro still widely the top safety this guy could be there at our 2nd so we pounce.
3. Jordan Reed TE Florida - TEs are flying off the board and chip Didnt expect it. Eifert, Ertz , Escobar and a reach on Vance McDonald after his combine so Chip grabs a nice pass catcher in Reed.
4. Tharold Simon CB LSU - I'm really starting to like this guy and he could go before this.
5. Montori Hughes NT Tennessee-Martin - big size and production from this guy.
6. OL
7. Skill player
Just threw it together in 15 minutes off the basis of the top 3 picks of our draft being from UF and positions of need. If you hate it, it's whatever cuz I know it won't happen in real life. Just wanted to see what you had to say.

No I don't think so. Armsteads projection was 5-7 range before his 40 and that's gonna push him up 3-4 rounds? Doesn't make him a better OL just a better specimen.
Denard is projected all over the draft from 3-UDFA. Not to worried about that. If we don't get him big woop lol
If you don't agree replace them with another OL and skill guy. 6-7 round wasn't really the focus of this mock haha

Armstead also had a great showing at the Senior Bowl. There is no way he is available in the 6th round.

I was just pointing out that small school guys like Armstead, who the NFL doesn't know a ton about before the offseason, can have meteoric rises through the process (like Brian Quick who went from a 3rd day pick to the first pick of the second round).
I like your free agency except for Kruger. I also think he's overrated but would not just throw money at him since we have it. That is a lot of what caused us to be in this position in the first place. I think we either need to address SAM in the draft (Jordan, Ansah, Mingo) or wait until next year.
Draft is fine but I'd prefer to grab a CB like Logan Ryan in the 3rd and address TE in the 4th or later.

No you're fine lol i understand. I don't think he is gonna go high but that's me. My point is I made a mock trying to freak out everyone that I took 3 Florida players in the 1st 3 rounds and everyone was more bothered by Armstead

also i dont like his height.... @5'10 he'll just be another tiny reciever for us that we already have enough of
i feel like if i wanted a WR project late that id just take a player that actually played WR in college

Yeah I was really expecting with the moves I made to have Cox-Floyd-Jenkins with Kruger pass rushin 3-4 and Cole-Cox-Floyd-Graham on 4-3 but with Jenkins recent release it changes.
Very clear Dline about to get a overhaul. Floyd could be in the mix for real. But this mock isn't realistic just something i through together trying to troll lol

lol it's still a decent mock filling all most holes with legit players. But no team has probably ever taken 3 players from the same school in one draft let alone 3 in a row is all I'm saying. What's the point of this section if not to have fun with mocks?

Sorry I don't think Kelly will take Reed at this point in time in the 3rd round. He's an hback. They have Harbor. He'll be looking for a big time TE or a big TE who can block in the running offense and leak out. Unless Ertz slides into the 3rd, he'll wait till later on TE if he goes that way.
Just can't afford to take a role player like that so high with so many needs.
