personally i cant stand waiting another two weeks for free agency. im confident that chip will actually use the players strengths, and will adjust the play calling accordingly.

The only part of the secondary that is a question mark is Nmandi as he is owed a lot of money this yearif he plays. We are trying to negotiate as we have to pay him at least 4 mil no matter what happens. DRC is a FA and does not look likely to come back. Coleman can play special teams. Allen is cheap and may react better to a different system.

I'm interested in Chip's coaching style, how the players react to him, and what they produce on the field from it.
I also want to see who emerges as a locker room leader. This franchise hasn't been a 'team' in a long time. I'd like to see some unity.

Lets break a couple of things down.
DT Situation:
-Both are in their 30's.
-Patterson may feel fine, but knocking heads isn't going to be the best thing for him.
-Cullen Jenkins, he's older, and I don't think he was a big enough leader for a young team.
-Do you think Mike Patterson and Cullen Jenkins would be effective if the Eagles did run an up-tempo offense?
-Where will either of them be physically in two or more years?
-How much cap space did the Eagles free up, and how will they use it in a DB,OL,DT heavy off season?
-Who will be replacing these guys?
-How wasn't the D-Line a liability, 123 rush yards per game starts up front.
-How would they have produced in the 3-4, and are the more valuable than some of the rookies and free agents of this offseason?
I don't think you can judge these moves until the offseason is over. And maybe even still not until the season is over. If the Eagles don't spend around 1/2 of the cap they have, they're being cheap and those millions don't play on the field.
Each release we see or trade, focus on the positives of the future instead of dwelling on a player that Andy Reid tried to force into a system, move on, and get on the Chip Ship
Someone said they didn't like any moves, which means they like Damatress Bell, and that is shocking.

good point, but to me this speaks to Bill B. excellence as a coach more so than Chip. Bill also consults with Jimmy Johnson and solicits his advice. Bill is smart enough to realize that he doesn't know everything and there is always something more to learn, and that no single person has ALL the answers. He consulted Chip on a specific area, where Chip excels..and he wanted to learn more about it..again a testament to Bellichik's greatness.

1: Firing Reid
2: Hiring Gamble
The possible 3: Hiring Kelly
And then they have the bad move, keeping Vick. A horrible way to kick off the new regime. I can't knock the coordinator hire because not only have I never heard of the guy, but I don't know who would have been better.
The draft will be a defining moment for this group.
