>>ppw: Very funny. guess I'll drive them both to Sonic. poor VY had to borrow $300K for his birthday party. so any eatin' will be done on Jamarcus' nickle.

>>Jhop: Randall Cunningham was the best ever at the mobile QB and all it took to crush him was a nobody named Bryce Paup.

BG, you got it ... Montana (the younger version) was a very good athlete.  Luck is too.   Right now, I like Rodgers because he makes throws on the run better than any QB I've seen since Montana.  Montana had the easy glide and gathered himself before the throw .. Rodgers seems to be ableto do the same, just that he does it while running closer to a full sprint.  If you ever get a chance to watch the January 84 NFC title game where the Skins beat the 49ers, you will see Montana at his best (playing before Rice and after Dwight Clark)  He had some amazing throws, Rodgers does the same in todays game.

Wood, 4 low points I have being an Eagles fan.

2002 vs Tampa
1991 Bryce Paup hit on Randall (thought they had shot at winning it all that year)
1981 Suoerbowl loss
Not sure the year, but there was a loss to Doug Williams Tampa team?  As a kid I remember the finality of the season... Dallas eventually lost to the Rams and the NFC title game was Rams vs Tampa!

>>joemas: the 81 superbowl loss was pretty bad. jaworski seemed to choke worst on the team. raiders weren't even favored. SB loss to the pats sucked it was a really close game-and probably why I don't like the JJ defense.
recent loss to wild card packers in the play-offs stung--as a traditional AR team was just starting to play football when they fell short...we can dissect that errant pass to Coop forever.

enjoy florida. am heading up north for some snow machine action in about a week.

Tommy Lawlor's thoughts on the draft are worth a read.

Really makes one think about some of the recent Eagles draft choices and criteria...Danny Watkins
