Best team in the NFC East and possibly best in the conference now.

I think Atlanta still top dog unless they lose a lot of people from this years team.

Washed up.  Glad he's off the market so we don't waste money on him.

He doesn't care about playing football.  He just wanted to stay in NY so he could be on TV.

Super Bowl hangovers are real for losing teams.  With the historic choke job the Falcons pulled I think that hangover is going to be especialy brutal this season.

We saw what a problem Plaxico was for defenses (including ours) in his short stint as a Giant.

Expecting much more of the same with having to face Eli and Brandon twice a year.

I wouldn't go that far. Eli is still Eli and they don't have their running game situated yet. I still say Atlanta, Green Bay and Dallas are ahead of them. This doesn't make the Giants the best.

I think that was more of a hometown discount so he doesn't have to move.

For 6 million a year I'd have liked him in Eagles green, though he may have taken less to stay in NY.

Atlanta is going to suffer a major super bowl hangover and they lost their offensive coordinator.  The Giants own the Cowboys and Green Bay has no defense.

Giants players should be excited about this signing. Maybe so excited they light some fireworks.

Bmarsh is still a helluva player and the Giants WR corps is now amazing, however, I would have thought there main focus would have been on OL. I dont think they have the cap to sign a legit OL starter and I would be hesitant to rely on a OT/G from this weak draft class to come in and start day 1. Eli is gonna get killed if they go into the year with the same OL.

We need to make a splash and work some magic and get cooks!! Then draft dalvin cooks! And our offense would be set...

Their main focus is on getting their own FAs signed and getting help on the OL, no doubt about it. This was a low hanging fruit signing. I assume the player/agent reached out and the Giants had mutual interest. He fills a very specific need.
