Got the two best teams in this Super Bowl. Hard to say how it will play out.

Called the Niners situation during last season. Knew they were in a very enviable position. Their success looks to be potentially sustainable as well.

A scout goes to a game. We don’t send twelve scouts to every game. So they have to observe everybody.

That’s what I was saying. If you have someone specific it should be a fairly quick hire. Dline coaching vacancy could still apply.

I think both ideas work. Some you fire because of underperformance.... but maybe one you are letting go because you actually have someone specific in mind. Basically the idea of a highly thought of coach became available so you are upgrading.

Graham Harrell I like that idea. Big advancement for him. See how that works out.

That’s a bunch of turnover in staff. Not that it’s bad. But it takes some time to get everyone on the same page. Get those working relationships going. It would have made me feel a slight bit better if they had someone specific in mind to take over the job. Letting you go because of a specific person upgrade instead of just fire and search.

It was the all the offensive coaches. You can’t give all the credit to Reich. He was a very good OC. Under a good offensive minded HC. With a great Oline coach. Great TE coach. Great RB coach. DeFellipo was good QB coach. Groh was good WR coach. All thing weren’t equal comparing Groh. He didn’t have as good of a supporting staff. That’s without getting into the players.

Really hurts the league how much more frequent good players are retiring before they are old.

Sproles offers good coaching potential on ST as well. Maybe more so.

I am just saying that 8-9 players tonight are in the running for top 50. And then the combine. Several Bama players factor in as well(they obviously are done playing though). But there’s plenty of quality to make the competition tight. What I want to get at 21? ...or 16 even (whether it’s worth moving up for)....still to be determined. Really high on these two secondaries tonight. I’ve wanted a vet top notch CB but really like some of these DBs tonight. Could be willing to change my thoughts on some things if we could possibly get Kristian Fulton.

But just one stud LB. Two Stud S. Two stud DT. Burrow 1. Tua2. Chase 3. And on and on to see how this unfolds. Oline prospects I need to really see more about. Good amount of pass rushers the first two days potentially. CB and WR also. So need to sort through and rank these guys. The high competition positions still to be determined in my eyes.

You have lots going on here. I’m not fully there yet. I’m looking at a ton of talent performing on the big stage tonight. But seems like some guys already are out of our reach in the first round. So I’m really diving into what we can get at 21. 53 comes in as well. Definitely WR and CB options. Good numbers high in this draft at those positions. Great competition at the combine and all should unfold there to really sort out the positional and overall rankings of these guys.

Got the two elite S playing tonight. One on each side.

We don’t have much at the whole position. Would be nice if he fell enough to get hold of.

Can’t keep KGH. Don’t want to pay Bradham. Huge gap between Murray and the rest of the class. We could pay Sean Lee....but not not the route I’d go.

Aggressive tackler that looks good in coverage. He also has looks very capable of being the Spy on athletic QBs.

Kenneth Murray the LB from OK kind of seems like my target guy right now. He’s being ranked around our range on some sites...but he’s the top at his position. So we’d have to consider trading up a bit potentially.

Groh has been a part of creating the gameplan. So we need somebody to give a boost on that aspect of matchup based game planning. Mostly need someone who fits in the building. Lot of guys throughout the building gotta work with him everyday.

But let’s say we draft heavy on defense...take a LB and a DB with the first two picks. Does that make it much more likely we would be saying goodbye to our DC to become a HC? Almost like loading him up with talent sends him packing.

Schwartz seems to be in a good place. He has very high control over his side of the ball. And he gets a major say in personnel. Seems like top of the food chain job for a DC. Better than some HC positions. Been getting considerations for HC jobs.

Noticing all the Corners in this draft are 6’ or taller. Mostly all around 200 lbs.

Those....and how much are they vulnerable due to scheme? How much has Schwartz been using his philosophies based on mediocre CB play?

Isaiah Simmons is a huge S for Clemson. But he’s been talked about as top ten.
