Trade Dak Straight Up To Pats & Sign Brady - Do You Make The Deal?

This is precisely the point as to why this would be a poor course of action for the Cowboys.

Trade Dak Straight Up To Pats & Sign Brady - Do You Make The Deal?

Because the Patriots don't have a quarterback in line to be the successor to Brady. Getting Dak would immediately solve that problem. And Brady only has maybe one year left. The Cowboys would be insane to get rid of Prescott and replace him with someone who would have to be replaced a year (or two) later.

Trade Dak Straight Up To Pats & Sign Brady - Do You Make The Deal?

Because it's an insanely good trade for them and a terrible trade for the Cowboys.

Giants fans, Talk About The Giants

I think Eli is a borderline HOFer, leaning closer to the "doesn't belong" side. That being said, I also believe he's a virtual lock to make it.

I'm not sure of the answer to this. Was Namath .500 for his career?
  6. In 1974, Notre Dame took a 24-0 lead in the first half against USC. They ended up losing 55-24. It was Ara Parseghian's last regular season game as head coach. Yesterday's Texans-Chiefs game gave me that same vibe. When it was 24-0, I joked to my father that "no team in history has ever come back from a deficit like that!"

    NFC Divisional: Vikings @ 49ers

Rooting for the Vikings. Don't really care too much about the NFC games this weekend though.

Eli Manning Hall of Fame Debate

There's really little debate. a) He isn't deserving; b) He will absolutely make it because of the two Super Bowls.

    Rolling R-word's (Trademark Pending) updates..

Schottenheimer, Gibbs 2.0, and Shanahan were all experienced "good" hires who never really panned out for the Redskins, and I'm not even sure that Rivera is as good as those guys. This doesn't worry me in the least. They might sneak in an occasional 9-7 or 10-6 season if he's there for awhile, but I don't expect them to be any kind of long term contenders.

    Week 17: 49ers @ Seahawks

And that was the day the Eagles blew out the Cowboys too!!!

Eagles Overtake the Giants all-time 88-86-2

There are no SOS games with the other conference.

If the Eagles win tomorrow, I'll care about this game. If not, I won't give a flying damn.

    Playoffs Scenarios (Season Complete)

I'd rather the 49ers win the division over the Seahawks. If we make the playoffs and host a game as the fourth seed, I'd rather face Seattle at home and San Francisco on the road the next week than the other way around.

Engram has always looked like a pretty good player to me. So as an Eagles fan, I'd be happy if the Giants let him walk. I doubt that'll happen though.

I'll be watching the Eagles. And the Rams/Cowboys game afterwards.

    Week 14 Open Discussion.

It wouldn't surprise me (I haven't done the math/just guessing) if the highly implausible scenario for the Eagles to get the sixth seed is for them to win the three "easy" games and tie against Dallas, with Dallas also winning out. At 8-7-1, Dallas would win the division on the tiebreak. And the Vikings and Rams and Bears completely collapse and only get to 8 wins each.

    Week 14 Open Discussion.

No. What I meant regarding the Rams was that I'd like the Rams to still have legitimate hopes themselves when they play Dallas next week. If the Rams lose tomorrow, they'll probably be pretty much out of it going into their game with the Cowboys.

Go Bills and Chiefs. And for the Eagles, it would probably be helpful if the Rams beat the Seahawks.

    Week 14: Cowboys @ Bears

So I'm thinking that if the Cowboys lose, the Eagles can no longer win a "tiebreak" with them...because they only way that could happen would be if the Eagles lose a game in their division. But basically everything would be the same as before (if Dallas loses tonight), just that the Eagles by winning out would win the division outright rather than by a tiebreak (if Dallas wins their other games.) But it would also put in play the option that if Dallas loses to the Rams next week, the Eagles could then afford to lose one of the three games against the Giants/Redskins, as long as they win the other two and also beat the Cowboys. Go Bears.

Black Monday: Who's on the Hot Seat in 2019? Who gets fired?

I don't see it. Assuming Garrett gets fired, Jerry would most likely be looking for a young hotshot coach rather than a retread. A retread is more likely for the Skins because young hotshots probably wouldn't be interested.

    My exact thought too.
