Sanu to Pats for a 2nd

Meant to respond to the OP, I'm just a clutz is all. My bad.

Sanu to Pats for a 2nd

Dude has never gotten over 1K yards, and is 30 years old, and they traded a second for him. No thanks. It's not saying he's not good, but we need to get younger. With the way our offensive schemes are, this wouldn't help much, and it certainly wouldn't help our roster age.

Giants fans... Talk about the Giants

Being in the hall of fame isn't about being elite anymore. It's become a thing that is for the money and revenue of the hall of fame enshrinement. So even though I agree, because he's never really posted good stats consistently at all, in almost any category, and in a league where QBs are getting more and more accurate, he's continued to not be, except in the playoffs, he'll get in simply because he's worth more to the NFL financially, in the hall of fame. That's all there is to it.

    Browns fans are ready!!!

All I have to say is, there was no reason to actually get rid of Gregg Williams when the same person who is your head coach was your Offensive Coordinator. Just silly. Might not hurt them in the end, but Williams is pretty good.

Laremy Tunsil traded to the Texans

To be fair, unlike Chip Kelly, I don't believe O'Brien asked to be the GM. I don't know what the heck happened there, though.

Giants WR Golden Tate appealing 4 game suspension

I'm more talking about longevity. Like I feel, personally, we have a good Super Bowl duration window as long as we avoid injuries to important positions. I'm implying that in the long term, I think it'd protect our interests. Of course, I can understand the flip side of it. I personally understand there's a lot of if with the situation. You know, like him actually coming out this year, and then actually being good in the NFL... But after seeing what's happened to the AFC East year after year after year, and also to the AFC South when Manning was there, it does at least make me pause. A lot of really, really good players come to the NFC East, and while I do honestly feel many of the other teams have consistently botched use of them many, many times over, I don't think we can always rely on that. I don't mind disagreeing with people though, personally speaking. I just don't find Nelson anywhere near as valuable as people think in this scenario. I was a big Matthews fan while he was here, and before the draft, but I think this scenario is similar to that one. I understand you guys aren't scared by so many what ifs, though. I just want long term success, and more championships, and I think barring any Quarterback Shaped Bombs, we're in the driver's seat for the next several years, barring injury.

Giants WR Golden Tate appealing 4 game suspension

I don't consider him a key piece, personally. I think we're in a situation where there's too many mouths to feed overall. He could become a key piece, mind you, by going all Victor Cruz, but right now I feel we're going to be spreading the ball around enough that he won't be particularly key. If I considered him a key piece, like Ertz, I wouldn't be saying this. This is just my thought process though, I'm sure others disagree. But there's certain things that I think are best for our SB chances. Seems no one else is too worried about that possibility, though. ...I just hope some team, like the Raiders, decides to be worse.

Giants WR Golden Tate appealing 4 game suspension

I cannot for the life of me even consider why we'd consider trading Ertz. That shouldn't even be a consideration. As for you Boogeyman, don't get me wrong, I agree, but after the Cardinals did what they did, and how Trevor is considered a generational prospect, I don't even want a chance he goes to the NFC East. I feel the Tyler Murray ordeal gives them an excuse. We're in a position where we have one of the best QBs when healthy in the NFL, with a window that should be open as long as we can keep him upright and play decent pass Defense. I don't really don't want him to have to duel that guy twice a year.

I'd trade them Agholor tomorrow. I really do NOT want them to have the #1 pick at any time over the next two years. The further away they are from possibly getting Trevor Lawrence, the better. And our offense would be fine without him, we can't even have most of our current weapons on the field at the same time. If not for Trevor Lawrence, then I'd be fine with them suffering, but considering that, yeah, no thanks. lol

    Over rated Head Coaches ?

Honestly, the crazy thing about Doug isn't so much that he won a SB, it's the way he won it. It's hard to describe, but there's people that feel like they're satisfied and complete when they win one by the way they win them, and then there's people who do so in such odd ways it seems like they're not done if things go correctly. Doug not only won one, but he did so by rejecting many things that make the fundamentals of this game. He threw conservatism to the wind and called plays the same way you see a cornered animal fight for life. Some of the stuff he called when dueling head to head against the greatest coach and QB of all time with our defense playing arguably their worst game of the year for 55 minutes was honestly a spectacle to see. It absolutely blows my mind that people are more about McVay than Pederson. Both have reached the Super Bowl, and have shown their hands in the most defining moments of their coaching careers. McVay called that Super Bowl like he was scared from the first time his offense stepped on the field. Pederson called that Super Bowl like the only fear he had, was the fear of going home a loser. That's probably the biggest difference, outside of, you know, Jared Goff.
  11. The guard was literally smiling. I'd love for Zeke to get suspended, but I doubt it.

Seahawks and Wilson agree to mega contract

LOL I meant if I were like a GM. I just think that's so far beyond the scope that it's just insane. I can't even imagine building a team there. Good luck winning anything Seahawks is basically my sentiment for this deal.

Seahawks and Wilson agree to mega contract

I'm not interested in paying a QB over 30 million dollars per year. Sorry. Not interested at all.

Rams chances of contending in 2019

Um, it just depends. Yeah reading defenses in the NFL is different than in college, but like everything else, some accel at it and some do not. The truth is, Goff was considered raw in literally every sense of the word after college particularly after playing in a very non pro style system, having a very mediocre team, but checking all the boxes for an NFL QB to be developed. Honestly I think Carson Wentz was the better prospect and it wasn't even close. As for Watson and Mayfield....I think somewhat yes, somewhat no. Mayfield is still learning, Watson is too. But more mobile QBs have a bit more to rely upon as they learn. Goff...not so much.

Kaepernick and Reid settle collusion case with NFL

Everybody who says this has their entire argument go flying out the window when they realize Blake Bortles and Andy Dalton were starting QBs in the NFL this year. I'm not even a Kaepernick fan, but I think he's so much better than Blake Bortles that it's pretty much robbery. He's also had significantly more success than Sam Bradford. In terms of results and pedigree he was definitely better than several of the lower end QBs. Just some of those people at the head of those teams didn't want to deal with it. And I'm not saying I think that's particularly right, or particularly wrong, but frankly I think it was highly overblown. Half the NFL kneeled at some point. Who cares?

    Sean McVay: I got out-coached

I thought the same about us for a while. But you know, it's easier to keep up hope as a fan. I like the Chargers but I don't follow them.

    Sean McVay: I got out-coached

I'm so sad Phillip Rivers and the Chargers couldn't get it done. That's just awful.

Man, and Tom Brady has 6 rings now. I don't even get how his 7th can be prevented unless the Eagles get there again.

Lawsuits field from Rams-Saints game seeding do-over

Um. Context matters. Maybe you weren't aware, but if not for a very certain person sparking the Eagles to play out of their minds, the Eagles were basically dead in the water after that. It was like a 9/10 chance for elimination. That's why I mentioned that. I never said we wouldn't be mad about it. Any fanbase would. I said I think the reason we don't feel bad for it happening to another team is because that kind of crap happened to us too, and because the Saints players were complete dopes about it. For example before the season they talked about how they would have just completely destroyed the Eagles if they played us last year, when Nick Foles established the greatest passer rating in playoff history. Then, due to beating the Eagles with half the team from last year on injured reserve (I'm not even trying to make excuses, or exaggerating), they decided to talk all that crap, and then lost on a karma call in the following game. So much of a karma call one of the Rams players literally made it a point to shove it in their face. So long story short, no, we don't feel bad for them. But hell yes we'd be mad, I'm not denying that. If say another team that was more humble that we liked more had it happen to them...Browns, Chargers, Colts, you get the idea. We'd probably sympathize more.

Lawsuits field from Rams-Saints game seeding do-over

I think we see it that way because the same crap except worse happened to us, just at a different time. See: The Eagles-Cowboys game two. Besides, Saints players were talking all that good sh--, make sure you blow a team out if you don't want the refs to affect the outcome.
  24. Another year, another fanbase that shows their true colors. Feel like Eagles Saints is going to become a fairly bitter rivalry soon, if Drew Brees doesn't retire.

2019 why don't we get games in 4k?

If you keep that up you might need more than 4K to see in 10 years! 😄
