Alot of lies in that link. Kyle Shanahan didn't stand on a table to draft Kirk Cousins. He stood on a table to draft Beck when he was OC in Houston. Shameful how many lies are thrown around, and how easily people believe them.

No, but I know there was. The same way there is in every locker room of a losing team after a loss. It's nothing special or especially dysfunctional with this locker room. And it's hilarious that he's pretending like he chose New York instead of wanting to come back to that same dysfunctional locker room.

I find it funny Keenan wants to pretend like he chose not to come back to DC, when the reality is he was benched half way through the season and was not given a serious offer to come back as a starter. They were fine with giving him a small "show me" deal and let him compete with Will Compton(who isn't good) for the starter spot. He chose New York. Based off that BS narrative alone makes me question his thoughts on the locker room when he was here.

I think half of the fanbase has convinced themselves he is already elite, and the other half are hoping he can be. Cousins is a smart dude, but he's somewhat emotional. Personally, I don't like emotional QBs as their judgment in the game becomes clouded and they make mistakes. But I admit to seeing Kirk improve upon that, and I like his confidence. I have no idea if he goes back to the Kirk of 2012-2014, or if he continues to be the Kirk of 2015. The defense is better than last season. The secondary has improved, but it may not seem like it has because I don't think this unit can stop the run. Our DL lacked a true NT, so they signed Jenkins, who is done. Our DEs are good, but the middle is a problem and I'm hoping someone steps up and surprises me though. Our inability to stop the run will keep a unit with good LBs, great corners, and decent safeties from being a top 10 unit.

I'm really sorry to hear that man. That's a lot of responsibility. You have my respect.

I would say because marriage should be more than a monthly check for the next 18 years. But who am I kidding? Very few people today think beyond their own selfish desires.

First off, I wasn't talking to your bitter a**. So me telling someone they are easily amused because they liked a weak joke isn't wrong. And how am I wrong? How can he charge for parking at a church he isn't affliated with? Spare me your whining over a weak joke. I am not a fan of Snyder, and hope one day to have a better owner. But the constantly ****ing from fans even when he does a good thing says more about what they lack then him.

I will freely admit I wrote Cousins off, never been so happy to be so wrong. What you have to take into account with his statistics, is Kirk has really improved week after week. All of the weaknesses in his game he displayed before 2015, and even week 1, he's worked at to eliminate and has improved upon. Other factors that have affected things is first year play caller OC Sean McVay, who's only 29 and admits he is still learning. This offense needed to find its identity, they wanted to be a power running offense but with 13 season ending injuries and the running game not working they've morphed into an offense with a similar approach to New England in the past. Cousins short passing game has replaced the running attack. He gets rid of the ball so fast, he usually doesn't take as many hits as Griffin did. And when shots down the middle and deep open up he capitalizes. Also the first half the year his best targets, Desean and Jordan Reed missed games or were too injured to be effective. Now they're healthy and open the field up. We'll see how he does next year, once teams have an offseason to take a look at his body of work. But I truly have more confidence Kirk is going to be studying film to improve as well, way more than I did with RG3.

That would require him to not learn from his mistakes. He actually seems to be taking baby steps with his overwhelming support for Cousins over his buddy Griffin. Before the season began he was pissed, but refused to interfere with McCloughan and Gruden. Now he realizes how good a move it was. Hopefully it's a learning lesson he'll take to heart. McCloughan really is the difference maker here. He protected Gruden when Jay benched Griffin, and it was his drafting and roster moves before and during the season that sustained a roster left ravaged by injuries (13 starting players with season-ending injuries).

Lmao! I'm always here, as usual those who are never around don't notice. Once or twice a year my a**. It's also funny how this thread was a hot topic when you all thought you were good. Slowed down a whole lot since September.

I think Griffin will be better than he was last season, but he won't be great. Therefore due to them needing him to remain healthy so they don't have to pay the 15 mil, they will give him four games to prove himself and then bench him for Colt McCoy. Considering how he's approached this offseason differently, less social media presence, saying the right things, a good minicamp. I think he's actually on the right track to being a good NFL QB...it's just too late for him as a Redskin and he'll have to prove himself somewhere else. He'll have to be drastically better in his footwork and throwing mechanics, showing better pocket presence. Reading the defense the way Gruden wants him to. If he's doing that consistently, not perfectly, but enough to make Gruden feel like he's making progress than he'll start the full season. But if he has two games like last season he's getting the hook.

Griffin's work ethic has been questioned, but not by people in the locker room. It needs more clarification, he is the first player there and the last player to leave. But he spends too much time in the weight room/rehab than he does in the film. Hopefully this changing, who knows. He hasn't tweeted in five weeks so he's at least shown the ability to learn social media isn't his friend. I can understand questioning his leadership skills or team mentality, but not his work ethic or dedication. Mariota really isn't that different than Griffin. All the positive reports you hear about Mariota were being said by Robert before he was drafted as well. They are very similar in their lack of experience in route trees, footwork in dropping back to pass, and pocket presence. His body has taken less punishment than Griffin, but he also wasn't the athlete Griffin was. Regardless, all of this is inconsequential. Mariota will be drafted before the fifth pick, and if he isn't, GMSM will pick a pass rusher or trade down. All of this talk that they may pick Mariota if he falls to them is just them trying to generate interest for potential trade partners.

How does Mariota makes sense? What about his game, translates better to the NFL than what Griffin has/does?

The owner's agreement? Oh! You mean the illegal collusion which occurred during an uncapped year, in which the NFL wouldn't dare admit to even happening until after they'd secured a way to avoid prosecution by the NFLPA. It most certainly did not help everyone, in only helped the Owners keep salaries down to skew the statistics and better their argument for a lower salary cap for the next decade. And yes, Mara shouldn't have been allowed to so clearly go above and beyond any written rules to punish division rivals for his own benefit. This isn't a big conspiracy because it's so Fing obvious.
