  1. Christian McCaffrey = Chris Thompson

Nope, TATE has declared him a bust. Like Agholor.
  2. Everyone focuses on the wild stories of the old 700 level and yes, plenty of shenanigans went on, but tens of thousands of Eagles fans spent Sundays at the Vet and had a great time. I think that's what people miss - a stadium environment that reflects the community. The NFL has gone totally corporate and has basically turned into the new Times Square - a big-box, expensive, touristy, sterile experience. It's all the same. You could be in Cincinnati or New England or Carolina. The stadium experience is all the same.
  3. The biggest fear is they'll run low on sushi. It's a gentrified, corporate environment, the polar opposite of the Vet.
  4. Ongoing Derek Carr Thread

The highest paid player in the history of the NFL. Seriously.
  5. Carson Wentz or Marcus Mariota?

Romo was the face of the team and a second son (or maybe third, I don't know) to Jerry Jones. Much different front office dynamics. Put it another way: if the Cowboys had it to do over again, do you think they would move up for Wentz or keep things the way they played out?
  6. Carson Wentz or Marcus Mariota?

At the time, the Cowboys had Romo and his $21 million dollar contract on the books so there was no way they were going to trade up for Goff or Wentz.
  7. Dallas gets it their way

The NFL schedule is meant to ensure one thing: big TV ratings. The schedule is created with that in mind. Everything else is secondary.
  8. Belichick's Philosophy in 6 Points

That's sort of what the piece says. For example, most teams change everything when they change coordinators - scheme, language, etc. but the Patriots keep their play books the same and expect the coordinator to adjust to the system. Continuity.

  10. Not sure of the exact timing, but the Patriots might have been covering their bases in the event that Josh McDaniels took one of the head coaching jobs. He later announced he is staying in Foxborough.
  11. Belichick's Philosophy in 6 Points

Whatever they're doing up there works.
  12. Good article on SI.com by former Patriots beat writer Greg Bedard. My favorite: it's about the right 53, not necessarily the best. http://www.si.com/nfl/2017/01/12/bill-belichick-philosophy-nfl-coaches-blanket-coverage?
  13. Could Gus Call Philly Home After All?

I'm not so sure about that. The Jets gig went horribly wrong, and now Buffalo.
  14. The Dak Prescott Regression

One more bad showing and the fans will riot in the streets, chanting Romo's name.
  15. The Dak Prescott Regression

And among those teammates he's carrying around are the most electrifying running back we've seen in years, a dominating stud #1 WR and the best OL in football. That matters.
