  1. The SI article posted today is pretty crazy. https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/06/13/kellen-winslow-jr-ii-crimes-rape-trial-homeless-woman-elderly From his early years in Cleveland (2004-08), to his final NFL season in 2013 with the Jets, Winslow became known to co-workers as a compulsive ****er and pornography enthusiast, according to two teammates and three former team officials. He could count on having an empty seat next to him on any team flight, due to his ritual of watching hardcore pornography on his portable DVD player, according to those sources. On one occasion, an equipment manager tasked with delivering gear to lockers after hours walked in on Winslow ****ing at his locker, two seats away from the entrance, according to two team officials familiar with the incident. During road games when the team stayed at a hotel and had a curfew, assistant coaches who performed bed checks reported on multiple occasions finding Winslow watching pornography. When pornography became widely available on mobile phones, he often watched it on his smartphone during meetings, the two former teammates said (nowadays, such sites would typically be blocked by the building WiFi). Teammates begged out of shared hotel room assignments with Winslow because he watched pornography and ****ed openly, with no regard for who was in the room, a teammate and an official said. Romeo Crennel, former Browns head coach, and former Browns assistant Terry Robiskie made efforts to mentor Winslow and impress upon him expectations of appropriate behavior, according to the officials, especially once Crennel became aware of a road-trip roommate’s pleas for a new assignment. The advice, apparently, didn’t get through. Later on in his career, after being sent to Tampa Bay via trade, Winslow acquired a life-sized silicone mold of a woman’s torso—complete with V and anus—to bring with him on road trips, according to one former assistant coach.

He would consider himself the best ever if he could do 2 reads. Which reminds me, I'd love to hear the Skins justification for having the 2nd highest payroll in the league on receivers. With a 1 read quarterback put the money to better use.

Stumbled onto this while searching for something. http://www.wusa9.com/story/sports/2014/11/13/die-hard-redskins-fan-john-ray-bartgis-puts-final-wish-in-obituary/18973673/ MECHANICSVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Washington Redskins fan who passed away Monday was able to make one last dig at the team. John Ray Bartgis died on Monday, November 10 at age 52 after battling lung cancer. In his obituary, he asked the Redskins to grant one of his "final wishes." "John was also a diehard Washington Redskins fan, and one of his final wishes was that the team members would be his pallbearers so they can let him down one last time," the obituary reads. Bartgis was a staff sergeant in the National Guard for 12 years who loved motor sports going each year to the Hatfield McCoy Trails with his work buddies. The service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Mechanicsville.
  5. If it is true about the other murders being the motive snitching could have saved Lloyds life. Maybe the Pouncey's want Hernandez free on the off chance he could go back to the Patriots and eventually kill Tebow.
  6. Yeah it must have been a surreal week. I wonder how much sleep he got during the week. Based on his court demeanor I imagine not much different than usual. No sympathy for him of course. Just find it interesting.
  7. A week of sleepless nights to get use to it. At least a guy large enough to play tight end in the NFL can be the giver and not the taker in prison. I assume that has to be a very small consolation to someone going to prison. Better work on keeping that weight on. If he drops weight to the point of getting to wide receiver size, well wide receiver is a pun he won't like.
  8. Sounds like one of the other 2 guys talked with this much detail. Always need to bank on that. Too stupid to bury the body. Too stupid to leave when caught (not that it would have been easy.)
  9. I'm curious as to what shady behavior led to all of this. Going to be an interesting trial.
  10. I hope they at least tried to trade him to the Cowboys first. With Jones track record as a GM they might have been able to get a draft pick.
  11. What do you think ban or suspension for the person that starts the eventual I Want the Eagles to Get thread?
  12. Message to the rest of the population that he won't receive preferential treatment perhaps. That is a bigger concern in court though.
  13. Example of what? Someone that commits murder, or covers a murder, isn't going to behave differently based on him being taken out in cuffs. Seems like an odd way to try and make a point. Unless they are sending a message to Hernandez specifically; that things are on their terms now.
  14. Seems odd to go through the trouble of covering your tracks but not bury the body. If everything on this page is confirmed that is more than enough evidence for a circumstantial conviction. You never can be certain though. OJ Simpson was found not guilty and there was DNA evidence in his case. Hopefully none of the police involved ever said derogatory things about hispanics on tape.
