  1. Welp, I highly doubt AB will be playing with anyone. You see the Tweet he sent out? What a class A jerk....
  2. Mike Wallace knows the playbook too and he still has some speed. Just because someone knows the playbook, it does not mean you pick him up off the street. What good is a WR if he cannot get open in 3 seconds because he is slower than a turtle? Eagles have 2 weeks to get someone in and teach him a few routes. I just ma tired we keep bringing back old worn out players.... Try something different!
  3. Sure, why not? It is comfortable, even though a total wasted move. JMatt is done. He is slow. A DT could cover him. JJ Nelson is out there. Jennings just got released from Seattle. Why not try something new for a change? Stupid move for JMatt....
  4. I don't see the harm in signing Gordon for this season and see if he can get his act together. If he doesn't, cut him. If he does, then we have a solid WR for the next few years.
  5. Chris Carter was 25 when he started to get his stuff together. Gordon is 28...
  6. Why do you say cancer? What did he do to upset any locker room? Sure he did things to himself, but not others...
  7. MJK, Your info is probably better than mine. So, I really do not know why they would if not for monetary concerns...Is saving 1 mil worth it???
  8. Ne may release him to save on money. I heard there is a clause in his contract that allows NE to save cash should he be cut for any reason, during the season. Once on waivers, anyone can pick him up...
  9. Keep in mind that there is a very good chance Gordon will be available within the next week. NE traded for Sanu, so no need to keep Gordon, who they placed on IR...
  10. Off the Subject.... Click on link below and put in your zip code. Can save you up to 20% on your electric bill. I know it has save me a bunch of cash... https://www.chooseenergy.com/
  11. doubt anyone wants him at his price.... Would have to take a pay cut...
  12. Trini, I would not hold your breath. I doubt there are any deals that we can make without mortgaging the future. Giving up a #2 for a WR like Parker may look good, but not if they are targeting one in the 1st round next year which they feel will benefit the team more down the road and next year. Plus, to make a real push for the title, I feel one player will not be enough. So would you give up your first and second round picks for players that may help us get deep in the play-offs, but will kill the team's future? We are getting old and need youth. Peters. Graham, Jenkins, Agholor, Curry, Jeffrey and Kerrigan are all players we need to replace next year or the year after. WE need more help in other areas as well. Let's face it. We need draft picks the next two years. Because we did not draft as well as we preferred, we probably need more, not less. This way we may hit on a few. The plus is we will be unloading allot of cash, so we should be able to bring in a couple high priced Free Agents to help. Howie has his work cut out for him.... I still say we need another OC. Gruden is at the top of my list....
  13. I looked and the official listing is Questionable for week 9. I would think that means he is a go after the bye week, no? That would be a huge boost for the D-Line.
  14. That is interesting. I forgot about him as trade bait. A team could offer someone of good value for Big V.... Maybe a DT or CB?
  15. BG, I think the pick was conditional. Correct me if I am wrong....
  16. No, I agree that Ags is not part of the future here GBFL. Your points are valid. Just do not think any other team has interest in him either. Not unless they feel they can fix his issues. So , why would a team trade for him? Maybe a 6th or 7th rounder, but I doubt it. Probably just wait for us to drop him and sign him to a team friendly contract to see what he can do. I see NE trying him out lol...
  17. If you had Peterson, would you personally trade him straight up for Agholor? I would not even give up a 7th rounder for him. Everyone sees what we do.
  18. I would much rather we trade for a CB then a WR. As DC pointed out, there are many options for WR in next year's draft. I do not want to give up a 2nd round pick for a WR when I can grab one in the first next year plus we need more help on the D-Line as it is getting old.... Even with Parker, we would have no shot at a title so why do it?
  19. Knowing our luck we pick the wrong one lol Maybe our WR coach needs to go too....
  20. We all are talking about these NFL Players making millions and here I sit worried if I am going to have to retire early in case I have to watch my mom 24/7.... Getting old sucks!!
  21. Heck I would take any of the GB WR's also and they would probably cost less. I would take Lazard....
  22. Yes, he hasn't learned a thing yet. Will he? that is for the next GM to decide...
  23. I understand that. What I was just trying to point out is most people in HS experiment with some sort of drug at some point. If you ask around and they are truthful, it should be the majority. Listen, Gordon screwed up, many times. Would you or I do that? I would say heck no!! I would give my left arm to make a million or more playing a game I love. I have no clue where his mind is at. Most likely he will never give up Alcohol and Pot. Maybe he might for a year or two. Should the Eagles take a chance? Probably not, but he is a better option than what we have and would not cost us anything should he fail for a 3rd or 4th time.... not sure how many it is lol
  24. Good for you! You are one of the few. I only drink now occasionally, but just about everyone on my football team in HS had tried Coke at least once. I am going back over 40 years, so I imagine it is not any better now. At least in the Public schools
  25. Yes in high School. like about 80% of NFL Players. Probably 80% of us EMB posters too....
