The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

Agreeing to not sue the NFL if he doesnt get signed is a "Death warrant". C'mon..... I dont hate Kaep. Ive just known he was a fraud the moment he opted to begin a protest the same day he loses a head to head QB camp competition to Blaine Gabbert. They gave him 48 hours. He said yes and it took his lawyers all the way right up until less than an hour before to figure out that the waiver was slightly different. Yeah... Ok. Keep telling yourself that. He pulled the plug within an hour of the workout. He never planned to go. The high school field workout was planned well in advance. He thought the NFL was making a stunt with the offer so he planned his own stunt in order to play martyr in front of the worst camera crew we've ever seen. Kaep simply doesnt want to play. Why would he? He makes more as an activist. The worst thing that could happen to him now is to get on the field and faceplant again. You can believe everything coming out of the Kaepernick camp but i wont. Sorry. Agree to disagree

The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

Agree to disagree. You agree to a job interview's time and place nearly a week ahead of time then less than an hour before, go somewhere else and text the potential employer that you didn't like some of the conditions but they're welcome to meet you at your now current location, you're not getting the job. The right thing for Kaep to do would have been to post all the details that bothered him to the public prior to everything. Workout was officially announced on Tuesday and Kaep said/did nothing until less than an hour before the workout. That was planned well beforehand. Call the NFLs offer anything you want but Kaep made it pretty damn clear that he was never interested in going through with this workout in the 1st place. Again. He doesnt want to play but he needs to keep up the image that he does. The NFL may not have been pure but Kaep couldn't have butchered his response more.

The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

Its impressive how Kaep and his crew had a public high school football field reserved and ready to go with cameras, fans, receivers, trainers, etc an hour away on such short notice. Its almost like he planned to pull the plug at the last second while using the contract saying that he wouldnt be allowed to sue again if he doesnt get signed as a shield. Dude doesnt want to play. He wants to present the image that he wants to play. If he really wanted to play for the last 3 years, he would have streamed a workout like this several times over in that span and/or would have signed. Hes a fraud.

Even if so, Kaep handled it horribly.

The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

Fun Fact: Kaepernick didn't give a damn about social justice/police brutality until he was benched in favor of Gabbert for the 2nd time. His protest began the same night. He knew his days as a franchise QB were over so he decided to take the oppurtunity to launch a career in professional activism. Ive said it since day 1... He's a fraud.

It's not a coincidence that the bulk of his loudest supporters dont watch football and instead just reference a super bowl appearance in 2012 and a 2016 stat line that only looks decent at face value.

If the guy never took a knee, he would have faded into oblivion as a guy just bouncing around the league for backup/3rd string duties. Even his most loyal followers deep down, know that's the truth.

    Its simple really... No accountability

    TNF: Giants @ Patriots.

Curiosity got the best of me. According to pro football reference, you lying..... Not that any/a is indicative of much especially considering that its 4 starts in and 1 of those starts was shorthanded and against the top rated D in a windy and rainy game.

According to those close to him, most notably his college coaches, hes a film room/playbook junkie by nature with insane work ethic that cant be taught to go along with his physical gifts. The scrutiny was due to talking heads. The same talking heads that have since admitted to never really watching him because he was at Duke. Just an incredibly lazy year by the draftniks who also bashed the Baker and Dexter picks. Dexter didnt rack up a bunch of sacks in college outside of his freshman year and so they just labeled the big guy a 2 down run stuffer and ripped Baker pick because they could have waited for Greedy. To me, if you didnt love the QB enough to secure him at 6 then you probably dont love him enough and should pass on him regardless. I dont think its a coincidence that a lot of sports media has become more show than entertainment. Hot takes and personality have replaced logic and insight.

Its literally been 4 starts. 4. 4 starts and 3.5 of his games, hes been without his best offensive player. Eli had one of the worst 3 first starts in NFL history. Nobody cares. Its not secret that there was a major disconnect between actual NFL scouts and the draftnik experts you see on TV. The same people clamored that teams might have had to trade up for Haskins. Theres been zero anger towards him or the pick since preseason. Calm down.

Always remember that this is the same guy who went on and on about how it was absolute blasphemy that Dallas took Zeke at 4th overall for no other reason than that hes a RB.

That's how it is now. All about analytics and narratives to pair with those that cant admit the possibility of being wrong. It's kind of ruining the classic practice of actually watching the games. Thats all Twitter is at least anymore.

He doesn't. He just stares at stats. All about the analytics. I remember a few years ago he spent the entire offseason going on and on about how taking Zeke high was the worst draft pick ever for no other reason than that he's a RB. He spent this spring claiming that DJ was an awful college QB solely based off stats taken at face value.

Now that's not fair! They've finished worse than 5-11..

The latter. Just almost though because it's not. Everyone else got the joke. My guess is that he simply didn't actually read to the end of the post.

I wouldn’t jump on the Daniel Jones hate train just yet

I never said you claimed he was top tier. I never claimed he was awful. You always made it clear that you believe he's far better than what I consider him. Low end starter-best backup in the league. Not a true franchise QB. This is where he can set the record straight once and for all. If he does well as a clear cut franchise QB I'll concede that I've been wrong all along on Foled However, if he struggles mightily in and is not at the very least an extremely noticeable upgrade from Bortles/Kessler then well.... Like I said. I've noticed a lot of the Foles fan club have done some major backpedaling lately. To me, that only further confirms that deep down, they always knew.
