  1. If we have better CB play Schwartz will blitz some more. He generally blitzes about 25%. I'd like to see him blitz a little more often and disguise the blitzes better like Jim Johnson. But you need CB's that can cover for at least 2-3 secs. You can't blitz against QB's that get the ball out of their hands quick. I think it'll be much better this year now that we have better quality Pass rushers to rotate in & out and move around the formation. GO EAGLES! Makes sense, just anxious I guess.
  2. What are you bias to? In other words, what do you show favoritism for? Last year we didn't have any weapons to take the top off of the D and open up the O downfield. Defenses became accustomed to that and stacked the box. This year, many more weapons in Pass & Run game. Should be able to go much deeper into the playbook, get the run game going and the Play-action will develop. Plus the guys won't have to think as much and be able to play faster now that they're in the same scheme for a 2nd year. This stuff takes time in this competitive league. I'm not expecting SB,but I would like to see us get to the post season and win at least one, maybe even win the Division. Have you read Tommy Lawlor's latest article yet? http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/article-1/Lawlor-Will-2017-Resemble-2000/5b0007a6-38b6-41ef-a89d-9ac64289163d I'm bias to conservative play calling. I'm bias to NOT BLITZING! and I'm bias to a predictable running back by committee where we put a big back on the field and everyone knows to stack the box. Especially when they know our corners are a weakness. To me that's just NOT Philly, it doesn't match up. ..... Air it out, Blitz often, ( or at least some) be PHYSICAL and FIGHT for it. That's just what I like, but everyone doesn't get their way. I'm always the MFer screamin Eagles at the top of my lungs. Cant nobody tell me nothin! so no matter what I'm with em. I know they threw the ball often last year, but it was dink and dunk. that's no way to open up play action or a running game, just a way to pad stats for a rookie QB. conservative AF.
  3. First of all,I'm not a huge supporter of Chip either. Chip wasn't given absolute control until 2015 and wasn't allowed at least a 2nd year to continue the rebuild. None of us know if he was handed the the keys to trade from the 20 spot (or whatever it was) all the way down to get Marcus. Maybe he knew himself that their were way too many other holes to fill to mortgage the future away. And yes,you could be right that there weren't any trades to get up that far for Mariota to begin with. As far as all of that goes,he didn't get along well with others in management or his players. He treated his players like they were still college kids instead of grown men. Anyways,it doesn't really matter now, other than the Eagles have to restart. Now he's gonna be ESPN's puppet. Let's see how long that lasts! Chip WAS given absolute control over the roster, Its was reported many times and that is exactly why Howie was not with the team. HE CRAPPED THE BED. I said it when everyone was on that bullstuff about IN CHIP WE TRUST. and kissing Seahawk a** like Philly should imitate them. Philly needs to go get it like Philly. You know what I'm sayin?
  4. Chip SUCKED though, real talk. He 86ed proven talent to turn the eagles into the bad knees bears, literally EVERYONE he brought in was dealing with a knee injury the year before. He brought in his bullstuff gimmick offense. He crap the bed in the draft and set this team back years. There is a reason he cant find work now. CHIP SUCKED! What if the Eagles would have done for Chip what they did for Pederson? In 2015 they weren't willing to move from pick #20 to pick number #2 to take Chip's quarterback Marcus Mariota, but in 2016 they were willing to move from pick #13 to pick #8 to pick #2 to get Pederson his quarterback in Wentz. I think we can all agree that Mariota would have definitely helped out the team better than Agholor has thus far. Lets not forget, Chip was fired during his second year of a rebuild. Using that same criteria if Pederson does not get the team to the playoffs this year he should be fired but that is not going to happen. The long and short of the whole thing is that Chip rubbed upper management the wrong way and that is why he is gone. Lets also remember that the same people who hired Chip have hired Pederson. The only difference is that now we also have Douglas in place at GM. If we are good this year, I will be giving him the credit for bringing in better players. No, Chip was given absolute control of the roster and draft. If Chip wanted Mariota, he should have went and got him. Sometimes trades are not available at No.2. He also wanted Dion Jordan BAD, but Dolphins beat him to the punch (Thank you). Agholor was also Chip. (hey surprise, he sucks.) Chip rubbed upper management the wrong way cause he was given what he wanted and crapped the bed period. P.S. Pederson sucks too. I thought we should have stuck with Sean McDermott, but whatever it is what it is. At least Doug can prepare Wentz for the task at hand. All that aside, I think we have a good core of players. Can we win a SB? not likely. But......It is possible... E A G L E S ! Pederson doesn't suck(at least not yet) not many rookie coaches have alot of success.he made his mistakes and he learned Its an opinion....HE SUCKS! although, I'm a little bias I will admit. Pederson doesn't seem to have the balls to go get it in my opinion. However I think given his limitations in play calling due to A- not having the players to fit his scheme. B- not yet being able to open the full playbook. I guess I do have to reserve judgment on him. I like the way the O moved the ball between the 20's. Red zone kinda sucked last year. I don't have stats to back that up, just an observation, but I think its accurate, and I think its improved.

  8. Heard that Matt Jones is on the trading block. Wonder what the skins want for him? I think he is tremendously talented. He is in the doghouse for fumbling the ball, but would be the bigger back in the lineup.
  9. And broke his leg and missed the whole season in 2006.
  10. Jones playing this year is wishful thinking, even if he were ready to go Mills will out play him cause he wont know the system.
  11. Pat White quitting the league after getting hit hard. That is what this pick is reminding me of. Hope he is tougher than he looks cause he aint Sproles by like 30 lbs.
  12. MACK!!!!!!
  13. Really hoping Eagles select Marlon Mack at this point. Not a hammer of a back, and needs to add muscle but talent and upside is there. He could play in a rotation until he is ready. Would take a year to get him right, but he could contribute right away. He could get to 215lbs. without losing any acceleration. Decent hands too.
  14. He can press and cover, long arms, easy movement and excellent ball skills. He is actually quite physical for his size, he is just small and doesn't have the frame to get over 190 lbs.
  15. Maybe we can trade back in and grab Tabor/Moreau?
