    AFC Wildcard: Titans @ Patriots.

As far as back as I can remember it has been one conference on Saturday the other on Sunday for the wild card round. Don't remember if they do it for the divisional rounds too. With so many teams making the playoffs when they added the wildcard round, there wasn't enough air time ( TV) for all the games to be played on one day.

    Dallas Cowboys 2020

Isn't Garrett related to Jones in some way? I thought I read at one time that he was his son in law. If that is true than that could be why he has always been reluctant to replace him.

    The Evil Empire ending?

Yep, and in spite of that being fact , they still feel the need to cheat...why? (once again they are caught taping another team ) to have an advantage. There's simply no reason for it.

The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

I think Nick can attest to that after last weeks display. Though T. Smith (sitting out the year) and the departure of Ramsey has had it's impact on that side of the ball. As for Keap, I really never paid a whole lot of attention to him after he left the NFL.His decision as I remember it.

    Nick Foles Gets Life

I get that, but you still have to try to run the ball. Even if you don't think you'll be very effective at times.

    Nick Foles Gets Life

Didn't go very well, since they lost. But am begining to understand why the Vikes let Flip go after one season. He had Nick throwing for nearly 50 times...(33 of47). That team is no better than the St Lewis Rams team he ended up on. This time he'll at least end up with a nice chunk of change for his misery. A fact that the fans are bemoaning ( given his early injury and the loss last week). I had to laugh at his pc of yesterday, when he told the media "you all can freak out, I'm not going to freak out. And telling them that everyone wants the end result before you get there. But it doesn't work that way!"

    Week 10: Chargers @ Raiders

Good, maybe Foles can torch them with 7 TD's again. 😂

Next week will be week 11. They are on their bye this week...week 10. I think there were a few reasons to their returning to Nick. One is they still have 3 division games to play. Both with winning records. Colts twice and Titans again. Minshew for as well as he has played, has not beaten a team with a winning record. Secondly, Minshew has been listed on their injury report the last two weeks. First with a groin issue. Then this passed week with a shoulder problem of his throwing arm. If this kid is being groomed to be their future, they don't want to chance damaging him physically in a season that may already be lost post season wise. Then they may also feel that Nick gives them the best chance to make the post season. Given his record with the Eagles at this time of the year. But to compare this Jags team to those Eagles team is ridiculous! There really isn't any comparisons.Jags don't even come close! Their defense has been up and down...and the Ramsey situation didn't help their chance of being consistent either. He simply quit on the team. Forcing their hand into giving him what he wanted and that was... out of Jacksonville! They've had no TE to rely on to help over the middle of the field. Where most of the damage against them has been done. O'Shanassey and Bream have landed on IR. Leaving only Koyac a second year player, and Oliver a rookie. Who came off of IR 2 wks ago himself. Nick has his work cut out for him for sure. And I'm not so sure he will be able to get them where they hoped he would when they signed him, with what they have surrounding him. This one guy posted he believes Nick's HUGE ego,( laughed hysterically over that ) contrary to what his outward manner implies, has lusted ( his word not mine) to get back out there. And that eventually it will be his undoing. The lack of a quality supporting cast might well be his undoing, but it surely won't be because of a huge ego!

It's not exactly the "hot" hand...luke warm would be more accurate. But that seems to be the concensus among the Jag fans too. I guess they have been doing pretty good at the gates too since Minshew has taken over. So that could be another consideration I guess.

    Nick back at practice today.

He upped his turn over ratio in today's game according to the game coverage. He threw two costly INT's in the 4th quarter today .Also had another fumble that he lost. He leads the league in fumbles according to what I've read. But who knows how the Jags think. They are on their bye this next week. They still have the Colts twice. Raiders, Titans again, Chargers and after that, I'm not sure. Today's loss put them back under 500. So the question is, do they want to continue to see if this kid can be their future? Or do they go with the more experienced player in Foles. In hopes they can salvage their season. Their top site writer Oesher, doesn't think paying Foles the money they are, wouldn't be out of line with what most teams are paying QB's who are their starter, if they continued with Minshew. The fans are certainly crazy about the kid. But then compared to what they have been use to, it wouldn't take much to impress.
