Rams acquire Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey

From what I've heard listening to some of their insider comments, is that Khan really didn't want to trade Ramsey. But when he didn't play (last week) after telling Khan in a private meeting that he would, just made it clear that things weren't going to improve. And the locker room had begun to cool toward Ramsey considerably. Not knowing if he was going to play from one week to the next. I mean you have a guy like Calais Campbell one of the oldest and most dedicated players on the team, going out there every game. Here was a young ,self centered young guy, acting like a spoiled brat.Demanding either a new multi million dollar contract or a trade. Who was still on in his rookie deal no less.

Rams acquire Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey

Too many of our core players are among the oldest in the NFL, that we're going to have to start replacing. Starting with this up coming off season. And thus we are going to need all the draft picks we have/acquire. But we do know that you're not going to hit on everyone you draft. As for Ramsey, it will be interesting to see if he plays this Sunday...since he was supposedly dealing with a severe back injury. Though it was never revealed publicly just what kind of back injury he was dealing with, such as Wentz's was by the Eagles last season. Many of their fans believed he was faking it...so that the very thing that did happen, would happen. To me that is a selfish player. And not someone I would want on the team I support. No matter how good of a player one believes himself to be, he still needs his teammates to do their jobs before he has a chance to do his; more times than not, given his position as a player.

    Jay Gruden let go...

I didn't think of that ...but good point given the hot mess that team has been for awhile now.

    Jay Gruden let go...

Doesn't the OC usually get the interim job when a HC gets fired? To see it is the OL coach seems weird to me.

    Week 4: Cowboys @ Saints

Nah, that's a good omen for us Eagle fans. Though I have to also say, I dislike Sean Peyton just as much as the Cowpokes.

Kirk Cousins is the next Brees

Wow, they're some really unbelievable (negative) stats...but they knew what they were getting, since they said they did their homework on him. So why are they expecting more from a guy who obviously doesn't have the talent or smarts to give better results?

    Week 3: Titans @ Jaguars

I've never been able to figure that out either. Just seems that the media dictates who gets love and who doesn't. And that is all that fans need and they follow like sheep. Even when the player they are puffing up has done ish to deserve it. This kid is lucky to have Foles as his mentor. They did show Nick on the sidelines last night. Depending on how this season turns out with this kid playing for at least another 5 weeks as to what happens with Nick, I don't think they can afford to eat Nick's contract..especially since they still have a huge chunk of Bortles on the books in dead money. To add another 33 mil from Foles if they choose to go with this kid over him next season would be insane. I can't imagine Nick wanting to be someones stand in or back up again either. I think he will just go ahead and retire if that turns out to be what happens.

    Week 3: Titans @ Jaguars

Not happening. Ramsey was upset that Marrone didn't throw the challenge flag on a play that Ramsey thought should have been challeged. But apparently the guys up in the booth didn't think the call would have been reversed. And Senatore the retired ref said it would not have been. So Ramsey got all bent out of shape for nothing. But he nor Campbell are going anywhere. They are two key players on that defense.

I'D say the Jags d is pretty good. 9 sacks tonight yikes!

Jalen Ramsey asking for a trade.

Their O line has more holes than swiss cheese. Why they didn't draft Offensive players instead of defense is beyond me. Especially given that their defense was pretty stout from all reports. Although that first game they sure didn't look it. I knew Nick wouldn't last the entire season behind that O line if they didn't improve it. But sure as heck didn't think it wouldn't be one damn game!

Nick Foles out indefinitely (broken clavicle)

Nick would never say it was intentional . That's just not the kind of man he is. This is the same shoulder as last time. Only this time he will have surgery to repair it. Like you said Sturm, one of the few players in the NFL that doesn't deserve to have things like this happen to him. Such a good guy. Brakes my heart too.
  12. It looked like they were exchaging words in a joking fashion (guard smiling) and Zeke just poked at him with his elbow in answer to whatever was being said. And the guard looking to be rather slight in build compared to Zekes ,and just lost his balance.

Daks Agent wants $34m per year

If he made it through the season and played well, then whatever they choose to pay him he will have earned. So far imo, he has not come close to earning that extention. But apparently you and many others disagree. That's fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Daks Agent wants $34m per year

I'm not saying he isn't worth the money. IMO, since they picked up the 5th yr option they had this season to see if he could make it through an entire season, before having to make that kind of decision and offer.
