  1. Nick and his wife were expecting their second child in Nov. Due to contracting a virus she went into labor and lost the baby. The baby was a boy. My heart aches and my prayers go out to them at their loss. I know only two well how devastating that can be.
  2. Prayers to the Simmons family. And a full and speedy recovery to Ballentine.
  3. Praying for a negative test results for him, and his family. Having been diagnosed with breast cancer, and radiation treatments. I can fully understand his being terrified of that diagnosis. Especially, since it seems to be a family genetic form of the dreaded disease. "Lord, father creator of us all. Please releave him and his family's concern by providing a negative test result. In your beloved son's name, I ask for this blessing in prayer" Amen.

    Case Keenum Traded To Washington

Well, they did have the #1 defense...until they came up against our Eagles/Foles.
  5. Preconceived perceptions can be disceiving ...which it certainly was in Fole's case. And unfortunately there are scouts, GM's and coaches that refuse to take some other sports abilities to play it. into consideration when making decisions.

    Ongoing Derek Carr Thread

True....he was at least man enough to show his face (so to speak). I can't help but to wonder if the Raiders do end up shopping Carr.If CarrbageTime will revisit the thread . I can hear it all now.How he will rant about Mayock and Gruden for letting the greatest QB to ever play in the NFL walk. And in the same breath rave how fortunate his new team is to get him.

I think he was happy that we won it (finally) but not that it was Foles who was in at QB when it happened. But I think what irked him more though, was in Foles getting named MVP. You just know that had to smart big time!

From what I have read their situation isn't any different than what the Rams were when he was in St. Lewis. So I really can't see that being a place for Nick to want to go. This time around he has the say and not the Eagles. They need a lot of help. But besides that Carrs contract is pretty steep from what the video of the conversation led me to believe.

Thanks for the clarification. Wasn't aware of that. But then I really don't pay much attention to other teams or their staff prior to someone joining the Eagles.

    Ongoing Derek Carr Thread

Just saw a post on Facebook that Gruden at the Combine has said that the Raiders are interested in shopping Carr. The writer of the article posted ( on the Phillyfreak page) said that he sees a possible landing spot for Carr to be with the Jags, since De'Flippo is now their OC...having had a recent connection with him. I didn't know there was a connection with the two. Since Flipp worked for us in the 20016-17 seasons. Then the Vikings last season. So his connection with Carr had to have been prior.
  11. Foles was projected to be a higher pick had he been coming out in a different years draft (as the scouting report posted suggested). His lack of athleticism was also a concern . Which led many teams to pass on him.

Super Bowl LIII: Rams vs Patriots.

Brandon Cooks played in back to back SB's and was on the losing team both times. That sure has to smart big time!

Makes Foles' performance against the GOAT a real masterpiece...and all the more enjoyable !

I think the bad experience he had there would last a life time.
