  1. Ever since the " I’m a soldier” rant I thought this guy was nuts.

This is a passing league. Not sure how old you are but in 1985 this league was about running the ball and stopping the run. Not anymore. Barkley is sensational but shouldn't have been the pick last year. All the top rookie QB's last year, even Rosen, are better prospects than Daniel Jones. He was a serious reach. Why take Lawrence, who's a 2-down DT? You need guys that can rush the passer. Wentz and all the other QB's are going to have all day to pass the ball. Can't wait to see that. As far as I'm concerned I hope Gettlemen stays there forever. Keep up the great work.

Good Luck running Barkley when you're down 28-3. The guy is stuck in 1985.

As an Eagles fan, I ABSOLUTELY loved the Giants draft. I was so worried they we would be facing Josh Allen twice a year but forgot who was running the show.

Watch Baker play. He's slow, runs in the 4.5-4.60 range. Watch his hips, very stiff, how's he going to turn with a quick NFL WR. Also plays tall at times. On the bright side, he's definitely a ball hawk who can make big plays but he's going to give up a bunch as well. He would fit into a Seattle type defense with taller CB's who can press and tackle but look how those Seattle CB's have faired once they left Seattle.

What a horrible draft for the Giants. Gettleman said he wouldn’t draft for need. Really, so Daniel Jones was a top 10 player on your board? Then you draft a 340 LB DT who can’t rush the passer. Then you trade picks to move up to draft a slow CB with no agility. Gettleman’s drafting like it’s 1985. Hey Dave, wake up it’s 2019. It’s now a passing league. Good luck running Barkley when you’re down 28-3. In 2019 you need a good QB, guys who can protect the passer, guys who can rush the passer and guys who can cover. Giants are built bass ackwards.

    Brees is actually OVERRATED

He's like Greg Maddux was in baseball. Weak arm but pinpoint control and all the intangibles.

Pass interference OPI and DPI can now be challenged...

I wonder if they will look at the entire play or just the part the team is challenging. Not sure if a game can end on off-setting penalties or if they run an untimed down.

Yeah, wait until they challenge an incomplete hail mary and they change the call to PI and put the ball at the 1. Teams and fans will lose their sheet. There's all kinds of PI on both teams on a hail mary. How will that work?

It doesn’t sound like you know the difference. There’s clearly a difference between a social program and socialism. Just because the government runs something doesn’t make it socialist. That’s the old liberal argument for socialism.

I don’t believe in wealth distribution. In what world is it fair that the government takes my money and gives it to someone else because they have less than me. And no, fire departments are not socialism- terrible example. A fire dept is there to protect American people and their property, just like the police, military, judicial system. I have no problem paying taxes to run the government but wealth distribution is just wrong. What’s next, wealthy Eagle fans pay $1000 a ticket so the poor ones can buy a ticket for $10. That’s wealth distribution.

When did I ever say that? I simply said if you hate it here then leave. I’m sure Canada or some other place will take you. I would also tell you if you hate your job, then find a new one. If you hate your wife, then get a divorce. There’s always options. I don’t like Pelosi or the other Democratic clowns in Congress but I would never say that I hate our country or disrespect the flag in any way.

The Hypocrisy of Kaepernick in 4 Stories

Not sure if the story is true or not but you’ll get the point. An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich; a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A (substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all). After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the third test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, all failed and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that.
