The Saints are blubbering about their missed PI call, but the one that really stood out to me this weekend was the roughing the passer call on Chris Jones when he literally just waved his hand in front of Brady's face.  That call doesn't happen and its end of drive for the Pats and likely game over.  On replay, Jones' hand literally never touched Brady's helmet or mask.  In a weekend with crazy calls, no calls and bad calls this one was by far the worst.  If they are going to throw the flag on every third play in this league then they need to have a replay for penalties.

Now we get to watch the Patriots in another super bowl.  Andy Reid's legacy of a perennial big game loser continues.  Welcome back to 2005.

agree, seemed the Chiefs were not gonna be permitted to win that game...

it will be nice when Tom Brady retires...not saying the fix is in...but

It's not nearly the same as Reggie leaving, but OK.

What are you going to do when Foles is gone? Belly ache that they should've kept Foles every time Wentz throws an incomplete pass, instead of supporting Wentz?

nah, I bought my wife a Wentz jersey...

once this is cleared up...I will be done talking about it...

this is the first time I mention Reggie White leaving...which crushed me...since it happen

Who gives a crap? If you're such a high moral character, there's 31 other teams in the NFL.

How does he sleep at night? Very well I'd imagine.

Image result for Jeffrey Lurie house

But nice attempt at a strawman.

Ive been an Eagles fan...longer than he has owned the team

maybe he should sell...if he cant treat the best QB in Eagles history right

feels like Reggie White leaving...these types of issues

    delusional

tell me, what organization in its right mind...gets rid of a QB that led them to their only Superbowl win in team history...led them back to the playoffs...and was on his way to extending their playoff life when a pass slipped threw the paws of a WR...

a QB that has set several team records...

and replace him with a guy with a high ceiling...that could be traded for multiple draft picks of Hershall Walker magnitude...

yeah, call me delusional...if they keep Wentz and he fails to finish the 2019 season

...a lot of people are getting fired!

It would be great if we could work out a trade for Nick it really would be... I'm just not sure what value he's going to fetch this year. I don't think his value is any higher than last year and in fact it might even be lower! So are we willing to accept say a second round pick this year? I guess we'd have to if we tag him or decide to pick up his option.

my understanding, if they tag him...there are cap issues...as in, Eagles loose some cap space...they would be better off just accepting a comp pick...

Howie has been doing a great job since he has been back...hopefully, he does not revert back to thick ended ways and borch this up...because is afraid to look bad, if he trades Wentz...

if he pulls off a trade, of Foles, without having to use Franchise tag...or have any cap penalties...he is working some magic...

this is not gonna make or break Howie career...but it is likely to hint at the direction his career is going...

This is the same guy that said the Eagles were trading for Le'Veon Bell, he said the other day that Philadelphia is a landing spot for Antonio Brown. And let's not forget this oldie but goodie, "No one wants to work with Howie Roseman."

    its a very complicated situation...

if the Eagles get rid of Foles...I think they will regret it...

    hope I am wrong...

I hope Wentz wins multiple Superbowls...and an MVP award along the way...he is high character guy...

if Foles goes to Jags, I bet they are in Superbowl next year and more...

I hope this offense is ready for a bit of a shoot out because I think it's going to go that way.

The defense has improved there's no doubt but Brees is going to go after that secondary and he's going to test them. Trubisky really didn't go after them that often and when he did he had some success. So this offense is going to need to be on it on Sunday night.

maybe Eagles play a little Buddy Ball...

let Drew have a few long passes but put a hit on him to pay the price and think twice about it...

Eagles offense can afford to give the Saints some painful points...cant just give them the easy, pain free points!

Both side of the LOS are playing better.  The WRs and the Secondary are playing better (though Maddox needs to get his head on straight before Sunday).  Goddart is showing up.  But we're one-dimensional.  We have almost no running game.  Bringing in a quality RB needs to be a top offseason priority.

I agree with you...Eagles need to prioritize the RB position personnel...

relying on UDFA, is not gonna get it done...

I really hope he stays as our backup.

honestly, if it were up to me...Wentz would be the backup...

Foles is a top 5 in the NFL qb...he is the Superbowl MVP...holds team record for yards passing in a game and TDs thrown in a game...just tied an NFL record for consecutive passes...led the team to the playoffs by beating 2 playoff teams...

comes a point the Eagles need to recognize what they have in Foles...cant hold the fact he did not cost them all those draft picks to aquire him...

Foles would not want to walk into another dysfunctional team and most if not all on that list are.

He will get killed in NY behind that line and with that media when he loses. Not how he wants his kid to see him.

    I say he retires.

    why would he retire?

surely Eagles would offer him enough money to take retirement out of the picture...
