    Week 2: Buccaneers @ Panthers

Did you see that PC he had after the game where he looked like he was wearing a Shiite hijab??

    Week 2: Buccaneers @ Panthers

What a crap game by two crap teams. And FWIW, I can't stand Christian McAffery and all the wonderfulness he stands for. Give me a player who puts my team over the top - not one who has great stats for a loser.
  3. I find myself changing the channel of what is otherwise a good game because it is unbearable listening to "Booger". So many qualified announcers. Where the hell did they find this guy?
  4. Early MNF announcers Cosell, Gifford and Meredith were the best by far. MNF used to be a show - an event - and it eclipsed what SNF is today. Now it just sucks.

    Browns fans are ready!!!

    1. We don't know if he had medical insurance just because he was tailgating before a game. 2. Even if he had medical insurance, most insurance is crap and hardly covers anything. 3. Even if he's covered, with his injuries, he ain't working for a while, and unless he had disability insurance, his bills won't be covered. 4. We can't assume he had disability insurance because he was tailgating at a game. So there you have it - good reasons to give gofundme a shot. Why not?

And just like that, Cleveland is still Cleveland. Oh the shock of it all. I mean nobody could see that coming a mile away, could they?

    Torrey Smith released by Panthers

If DJax were to go down for an extended period, I could see it. Otherwise, no.
  8. Whoa!! Why couldn't this happen last year before Foles left in free agency.

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

Why don't you tell us what QB carried his team on his back to a Lombardi despite poor line play and average coaching since the turn of the century. What a putz vedek - saying Luck was no good because he's not Peyton.

gottlieb's a putz - and a putz guilty of credit card fraud

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

He carried that team on his back. Archie Manning didn't win squat with the Saints, but he was a great QB. Dan Marino only went to one SB with the Dolphins, but he belongs in the HOF.

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

I think he's done. I can't remember another QB who suffered the range of injuries he has.

    He's done.

And you think Eli is going for that with the Colts' OL? Have you forgotten what happened to his brother's neck in Indy?

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

There are other bad teams out there that won't have a QB. No guarantee they get the #1 overall pick.

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

Yeah, and why do you think he said he is mentally worn?

Dolts is a good adjective to describe them

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

He didn't plan on suffering another serious injury before the season started.

Sad reflection on these boards when an outstanding academic achievement needs to be censored.

Indy already has Brisset. Why would the Colts trade for Sudfeld?

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

Colts are better off tanking this year and drafting another QB of the future. That, plus I don't think NY or Eli would go for that deal.

    Andrew Luck decides to retire

Is it really so hard to figure out given his injury history over the past few years?
  23. Loved Randall, and yes, he would have benefited from better offensive coaching and more talent on the offense. Still, the Randall who played in Philly was not as mature as the version in Minny when he put up MVP numbers in a star studded offense. Do not forget that Jon Gruden benched Randall in 1995 - and it was Rodney Peete who took that team to the playoffs. I remember Peete leading the Eagles to a touchdown drive during a playoff game in Dallas before he was knocked out the game and the immature Randall who did not prepare for the playoff game because his wife gave birth that week could not do anything with the offense for the rest of the game. If we had the mature version of Randall with a bit more talent on the offense and coaching staff, sky would have been the limit for him. My vote for best player not in the HOF goes to Harold Carmichael. There never has been another receiver in the game like him, and I doubt there ever will be.
