Giants fans... Talk about the Giants

All due respect, but that’s just another damn cliche. The fans don’t know jack as to whether he can play or not because they’re not at practice. They can’t keep trotting this same ish out there every week and expect fans to remain quiet about it.

Not ready for what? To lose?! Dude, it’s way beyond that now, they have to change ish up and try to get a couple of wins. If the kid gets his a** kicked, so be it, it’ll tell them how he handles adversity and whether he can play under pressure

Throw Lauletta in there, whats the worst that can happen? Might as well lose and figure out what you've got with the kid, at least it'll be somewhat productive

Still in the same place. They have to tear the whole thing down, starting with Eli

OBJ is the biggest loser I've ever had to to root for...

No other offers were made in this scenario. What do you do? Yes or no?

OBJ is the biggest loser I've ever had to to root for...

So if you were to walk into work this morning, and your boss told you "Hey, ya know what? You've been doing such an incredible job, and I'd like to offer you a new position. Its in Anchorage, AK, but you'll be earning $15 mil a year for the next 5 years(hypothetical numbers), all fully guaranteed".....you'd turn it down? Know why he's probably not sounding all that happy right now? They're losing football games. Lots of them. You'd have to be a very competitive person to understand how hard that is for a lot of NFL players to swallow

"It's a tough question," said Beckham, who makes his offseason home in Los Angeles. "Obviously, I love seeing the sunshine all the time. I love, you know, I love being in L.A. I just like that atmosphere

OBJ is the biggest loser I've ever had to to root for...

Yeah, because warm weather and sunshine suck compared to freezing your a** off and dealing with snow and ice. Again, I don’t see a damn thing wrong with what he said, and fans expecting every player to stick to the same bull**** script every single time are thin skinned cowards. I’d much rather hear the truth from people, not some candy a** lies http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24919394/odell-beckham-jr-know-eli-manning-reason-new-york-giants-struggling-offense

Call me crazy, but I like what he did. They’re constantly losing football games and he spoke the damn truth about why it’s happening. These are grown men....professionals, and if they can’t take harsh words from their teammates, then maybe they’re the ones who need to be shown the door. F this sugarcoating bull****...whatever gets the team fired up, say that ish!!
  10. The Birds don't have a thing to worry about. The Giants do not have even a semblence of a pass rush, and if they send more than 4 to rush Eli, he's toast. Throw a bunch of screens at them, and that intermediate stuff in the middle of the field, and the game is over for the Giants. Yesterday was the first time in 37 games that they hit the 30 point mark. It ain't happening again, at least not for a while

    Eli Manning

So I guess the millions of football fans around the country, many of whom are current/former players and writers/analysts, are all ignorant. Hes done. He really is done, and at the end of the season, or even before, you’ll find out that I’m right

    Eli Manning

Foos, I know you’re gonna write this off as Eli hate, but dude....for chrissakes...there is something VERY wrong with Eli. The guy does not see the field beyond 3 yards, and he hasn’t for 3 years. The last 2 games, his pass pro was noticeably improved(not great, but much better than it has been). There were many snaps in which he had more than enough time to go through his progressions, and he did nothing but check down after check down. That is a scared, mentally screwed up QB we’ve got on our hands, and that is a MAJOR problem. You can continue to write it off as a play calling problem, but even Shurmur said that they called several deep passes, and Eli checked out of them for 3-4 yard gains, if anything. He is completely incapable of moving. At all. Just about every other QB in this league can buy even a small amount of extra time to make a play downfield. They ALL get pressured on just about every play, and yet, just about every one of them still produces in some way. Eli? The same can not be said, or at least it cant be said based on any kind of actual reality. He has become a major problem, and its time for him to go. I’m grateful for his past accomplishments, but the guy, mentally speaking, is complete toast, and there’s no coming back from that.

Week 4 TNF: Vikings @ Rams

I’m actually really looking forward to this one, I like the matchup

Is Jon Gruden in way over his head?

The Raiders made a huge mistake bringing him in. He cant coach his way out of a paper bag at this point, and he’ll probably wind up destroying the team in the next 2-3 years before he gets fired, just like he did with the Bucs.
  15. The rule is friggin’ absurd in every single way, and it has already resulted in a defensive player tearing his ACL and of course ending his season, and all because he was trying to avoid dropping his weight on the QB he was taking down. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24782945/william-hayes-miami-dolphins-tears-acl-trying-avoid-sack-flag

    Week 3: Steelers @ Buccaneers

This Bucs team, at least with Fitz, is for real. They’re playing great on all sides. They’d be nuts to let Jameis back into the game
  17. Uh huh...I’ve seen the pic many times and conceded that it was indeed funny. Having trouble keeping up? He still had a good game yesterday

    Clay Matthews was jobbed

Precisely right. There is just no way to keep a defender from falling away from the QB every single time after he’s wrapped up. The fact that at least one guy is already gone for the season because of this ish is pathetic. He wont be the last
  19. Gmen4ever

    Clay Matthews was jobbed

Yep, thats exactly how I interpret it as well. The rule is so damn moronic, especially after you watch that hit to RGIII. Personally, if I’m the QB, I’ll take the body weight falling on me over getting crushed to the turf like that. I cant see them keeping this rule in place for long, especially when more guys get hurt while trying to avoid breaking the stupid thing.

  21. The OP is too busy in the Eli Manning thread trying to serve up crow after Eli finally had a really good game.
  22. Gmen4ever

    Clay Matthews was jobbed

You can’t, after you hit a Qb, land on him with any of your weight. That’s the rule as I understand it. Matthews sort of put some of his weight on Smith. There was no way that wasn’t going to happen in a wrap up tackle. You are taught to wrap up in pop warner, or at least I was anyway. Its(new rule) one of the dumbest, most ridiculous rules I’ve ever heard of in my entire Fing life. They’re essentially saying "don’t sack the QB because they get paid too much money, and our ratings will drop if they’re not playing”. One of two things should happen. Red shirt the QBs and be done with it already , or tell your pass rushers to just blast them without wrapping up. They’re far more likely to get hurt in that scenario, but hey...no one will fall on them.

    Eli Manning

I sincerely doubt it. He has always been up and down, and you never know what’s coming from one game to the next. He has largely played like ish for the last two years because he really doesn’t see the field for the most part. Yesterday was an obvious exception Who knows, maybe he’ll shock the world. Impossible to say
