Who Most Likely to End a Playoffs Drought

Appearance: Raiders, Rams, Dolphins Victory: Rams, Eagles Raiders: With a new coaching staff, a young up and coming defense and some nice weapons on offense to compliment Carr, the Raiders can make some noise in the AFC West. Third year RB Latavious Murray (6'2" 230 lbs) showed his big play ability against the Chiefs and then missed a bunch of time with his first ever concussion. A good receiver as well, Murray is expected to be the bell cow for the Raiders and should take a lot of pressure off both Carr and the defense. With improved defense and running game, the Silver and Black are BACK BABY! This team can now win on the road, so 9-7 maybe 10-6 both of which are enough to take division. The Broncos lost a lot of beef on the offensive line, one of the best TEs in the league and have much to be desired on defense all combined with Manning breaking down, they will be lucky to get 8 wins in a suddenly competitive division. The Chiefs are entering year 3 under Andy Reid which means Jamal Charles will be underutilized and sucky-but-still-overrated QB Alex Smith will be asked to throw the ball 40+ times per game, at least until week 9-10 when Reid finally gives in to reality and puts the team on Charles' narrow shoulders. Chiefs 6-10 at best. The Chargers take a step back and struggle along both lines but their weak defensive backfield does them in, 8 maybe 9 wins. Rams: Turn key playoff team, just needed an upright QB and they have that now. With a loaded defense, excellent special teams, a bruising running game and finally no more Schottenheimer offense, the Rams are ready to contend for division but ultimately will have to get in as a wildcard which they can do. When Gurley gets full swing they will be one tough team to beat and no QB will want to face that pass rush. This team is build to win on the road in December & January and they will do both; 10-6 or 11-5 and wildcard round victory. Dolphins: Year Two in OC Bill Lazor's version of Chip Kelly's offense and more weapons means a pretty exciting and high scoring team. The defense should be much improved but MLB might be an issue. With Tom Brady's suspension and Pats losing 3/4 of their starting secondary, the AFC East is ripe for the taking and the Dolphins are the team to do it by 1 game, going 11-5 and hosting a playoff game in the wildcard round, probably winning it before being shown by the Steelers or Colts that they aren't quite ready to make deep playoff runs. Eagles: Smashmouth football; 12-4 and #2 seed, NFCCG in Green Bay is going to be a brutal game for both teams but the winner goes on to win Super Bowl.

He will post a gif of an underthrown pass because he thinks it's a 30 yard back shoulder throw I almost feel bad for making fun of that dipish. Almost.

Today Jesus Carr passed the eye test that nobody wants to pass. His reaction to his game ending INT looked just like Ryan Leaf when he threw an INT he felt should have been caught by his receiver. Eye. Test.

Oh he is serious, he just doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. There are no less than 20 QBs in the NFL right now that have just as good if not better arms than Carr. Two of them play for the Jets. rtarder is trying to act like Derek Carr has an Elway/Marino/George/Bledsoe/Vick type arm but he doesn't. Carr doesn't even have the best arm in his own draft class! Bortles, Garropolo, Mettenberger and Thomas all have better arms than Derek Carr. Now that isn't to say Carr is devoid of talent, he definitely has a very good arm and could one day be a great QB, but odds are he turns out to be average or a bust.

Yeah, but none of those other QBs are Derek Carr.

Oh that's not his problem, not by any means, it's just something he does. His problem is much more simple and he has some like- minded company in Oakland.

Huh, I never expected you'd be in Nebraska. Was it just a pilgrimage or have you moved to Alliance?

Do we get see a long series of smartphone freezing, rtarder gifs showing all of Carr's turnovers and how his arm talent & football acumen kept those plays as being just turnovers; and how if it were Nick Foles and his far lesser capabilities those plays would have resulted in negative points and loss of draft picks? On a serious note: I'm encouraged that Carr didn't seem to get down at all when Houston was just destroying the Raiders. You see a lot of young QBs can't hide the feeling of helplessness in games like that but Carr stayed level and kept fighting. The players have to take that as the one positive from this game, that the rookie QB stayed composed and continued to work. Now the Raiders just have to get over names and draft pick status and start feeding the ball to Latavius Murray. He's clearly the best RB on the team and they won't get him touches.

:sigh: You all like to keep using that 90% figure from a 10 year old poll in which less than 800 people were polled. On top of the age of the poll is the fact that none of participants were ever proven to even be of Native American descent, the only proof needed was they identified with Native Americans. How about we let the actual Native American tribes decide and stop pretending that 2004 poll was anything but propaganda piece?

No, it's not ironic. The fact that you cannot understand the difference between 'Chiefs', 'Seminoles' or 'Braves' and 'Redskins' just shows how out of touch with reality that you have become. A title of honor (Chief and Brave) or a tribe name (Seminole) are not racial slurs. It's the same difference between an African tribe name (Zulu, Ondonga, Ait Toureg) and a slur (porch******, mud *****, ni***r). Why you 'Redskin' defenders do not understand this is quite a mystery. Y'all either just very dedicated internet trolls because your lives are absolutely miserable or all y'all a bunch of psychopaths and truly have zero empathy and thus cannot comprehend how racial slurs affect people.

How much time have you spent around Native Americans or on a reservation? Not likely you are going to hear slurs like that tossed around in cities, it just isn't a hotbed for racism against Native Americans. But spend time in northern Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah and you'll see it a lot in area close to reservations. And who are you to say who is or who isn't offended by the term Redskin and for how long? Just because this controversy hasn't been on your radar before two years ago doesn't mean others haven't been following.
