Eagle fans in Las Vegas

Recommended Posts

dude, are ya kidding me?! eagles fans are everywhere out here! just wait til football season. everywhere you look, you'll see midnight green floating around somewhere...anywhere! on the strip, at the sports books, hell even at costco! we're pretty deep out here.

i think mainly because of the weather, people are just tired of the snow and cold, dark weather in the delaware valley and make this home! although, i'd kill to get a wawa and a jim's steaks out here!

supposedly there's an eagles bar out here that a buddy of mine told me about. could be all the way out in summerlin though. gotta find that out.

There is an Eagles Bar on Twain called Madison Ave Bar and Grill, but it sucks to go there. I have heard of a place called Blondies on Las Vegas Boulevard and they say they are an Eagles Bar. I have checked out their website, and it says it, but I have never been there. Will have to check it out when the season starts!

There are a lot of Eagles fans out here. Just on St. Patty's day, we were at Toys R Us and some guy had on a Kearse jersey and we were like Look an Eagles fan!!!

It is cool when you see someone wearing the Eagles colors! We actually saw a guy driving a green pick up truck, with Eagles stuff on it, it was cool. My kids got a kick out of it.

Hopefully, that was helpful to you.

thanks jerseygirl..

oh yeah, blondie's is in aladdin if i ain't mistaken. they had $20 all you can drink green beer on st. patty's day. heard about it on 98.5 kluc. they're seahawk fans at that radio station though...that i could deal with since it just feels like every other team out there just doesn't have the type of passion we do!

You are correct, it is in the Desert Passages and on the website it does say they are a Phil Eagle bar! When it gets closer we will have to organize a home opener at this place! I can't wait till the schedules get out!

Blondies claims to be a Philly bar, but I watched most games there and wasn't too impressed. The $20 cover for all u can drink beer is solid but not to much philly gear representing, but the place is decent. Eagle_smiley.jpg

Hey Atty,

Thanks for the info. If the place wasn't representing too much with gear, how was it with Eagles fans representing?

To be honest Jersey Girl I went with a group of 10-12 philly fans, and there were probably 5-6 already there. I've heard rumors of a great philly bar but nobody ever seems to have the name of the place. The place is decent but watching the game in the sportsbook with free drinks is probably better. Any other spots you know of???

The only place that I know of is the Madison Ave Bar and Grill on Twain. I have never been there, but have been told that it is a dive. VegasEaglesFan1 and I have talked about it, I am not sure if he ever went or if he just heard as well.

In the beginning of last season, my neighbor ( a Philly Fan) told me about a pub on Horizon Ridge, a PT's Pub and she said the manager was a Philly Fan and she said it was a Philly bar. Well, it's not. We went there and we were the only Eagles Fans there. I even took my kids and sat in the restaurant part and when we scored a TD we sang the Eagles Fight Song. We had a lot of strange looks but we didn't give a damn! Anyway, so that idea went out the window because there were people cheering for the Raiders, Chargers and the Steelers there.

I think I will try to give this place a try or any place for that matter as long as there are tons of Eagles fans. I think if we could rally up some fans and have a place to go, it would be lots of fun. I just wonder if there are other places out there that we just don't know of yet!

Sorry for the long response. Talk to you later!

Jersey Girl, We might just have to load up a place with a bunch of Philly fans and turn it into our own Eagles Bar. thumbup.gifEagle_smiley.jpg

I was just in Vegas last week and I couldn't believe the amount of Eagles fans. In just a walk from Excalibur to MGM Grand. . I saw 6 people in Eagles jerseys or hats. Amazing!! I'm sure most were just tourists, but nearly everyone is a transplant in Vegas. Keep the board updated of the best bar to watch a Eagles game as I will most likely be coming back out during the bye week or an Away game.

I took my family to Blondies for an Eagles game and every game being played at the time was on one screen or another. They had the Eagles on the smallest screen there with no sound. Mostly Seahawks and Raiders fans. The food is pretty bad and expensive to boot. For a team that had played well for the previous five seasons, there are very few places to watch the Eagles in this town.

Thanks for that info, but unfortunately, they name the Madison Ave Bar and Grill as the Eagles fan club, and it is in a crappy part of town.

We need to somehow get all Eagles fans together and find a decent place and just take it over!!!

I'd do that, unfortunately I do most of my drinking at home. . . . Alone.

That was a joke, btw. I actually only go to bars to eat, not to drink. I'll keep my eyes open, but most bars I've been to in town already have a team. In fact, the Torrey Pines Pub is owned by a guy from Philly, but a few years ago he lost a bet with a friend (some friend!) so the bar is a Giants bar. Yuckkk.

Yeah, really sad. It's not a bad place. Food is good and reasonably priced. The people are nice. But after rubbing elbows with all those Giants fans, I need a day-long bath. In acid.

hey me and ma girl just hopped over to a bar called steiner's on the southside of the boulevard at like windmill. caught a movie, and wanted to catch a quick beer afterwards. so we decided to run up in there, it's actually a cool place. nicely sized, good beer selection, menu looked tantalizing, good service..a gang of tv's..ideal place to catch a game. although i didn't see any affiliation to a football team, there wasn't much sports memorabilia spread around the place either. next cool bar i check out i'll keep you guys posted.

Steiner's is a chain. They're all over town. I don't recall any team affiliations at any of them.
