Mr. Genett, who is the General Manager of FOX35 in Richmond, has chosen to show Dallas games, regardless of who they play, over Eagles games this year citing "past fan reaction". Please take a quick moment to flood his inbox. Again, his email to me is below. Thanks - you are helping Eagle fans in most of Virginia!!

Steve

Our team picks in order of preference are:

Washington

Dallas

Philadelphia-NY

Pittsburgh

schedule was chosen in May.

the schedule is my call, my choice, based on past fan reaction

Just go to a bar....

....A person in his position has to make a choice. If he chose the Eagles/Carolina game, then he'll have Dallas fans pissed. If the decision is based on passed market analysis, then chances are there are more Cowboys fans... It's not like he can show both, so I dont see any reason why he should have to suffer dealing with a bunch of emails in protest...

True, but who wants to see that matchup? The bucs looked piss poor all preseason, and will be horrible this year. Our matchup is between two top nfc contenders. It should definitely be the marquee game.

He doesn't make this choice because of personal preference.

It's called ratings dude.

Radio is a business.

Biggest audience wins.

I've got two words for you - DIRECT TV

When I lived in San Diego I had to pay for Sunday Ticket to watch my Eagles. Well worth it

Richmond's a big city. Go to a bar with the ticket. Complaining about local TV programming won't get you anywhere.

Why is this a surprise? It's been this way in Richmond for decades. Since the Eagles have been winning consistently, you do get to see more than half of the Eagle games in Richmond. Try living in Nashville, or Memphis. You'd only see the Eagles in prime time, or a NFC EAST 4PM national game on FOX, IF it doesn't clash with the Titans broadcasts, which most of the time it does. Since the Redskins are the home team, you're guaranteed to see more NFC East games so it could be much worse.
