Do the eagles have the best tight end combo in football

Recommended Posts

I agree with the guys saying Patriots. Even if it was still Gronkowski and Chandler I'd put them over Celek and Ertz.

What good is potential if it doesn't materialize into anything?

Yeah - the best tight ends in the NFL, and the worst wide receivers in the NFL.

No love for Burton here?

Would not be stunned if Burton's productivity eventually surpasses Ertz.

Sorry buts it Patriots without question...

1.) Patriots

Then number 2 could be a few teams

Seattle with Graham and Wilson

Cowboys Witten and Escobar

Eagles with Ertz and Celek

Ravens with Gillmore and Pitta

Escobar ????

Yeah, I'd take Dallas off the list, however I'd add the skins

the eagles aren't even close to #1

homerism? I said Dallas was not on the list....sort of the opposite of being a homer

I dunno about rankings, but when you add Jordan Matthews to the mix it's definitely one of the better possession receiver corps in the league.  The offense isn't as bad as people say it is because Bradford is actually a pretty darn good possession passer.

Just throwing some more out there:

Jags with Mercedes Lewis and Julius Thomas
Titans with Walker and Fasano
Redskins with Reed and Vernon Davis
Packers with Rodgers and Cook
Cardinals with Fells and Gresham

Easy to say Patriots #1. Eagles are in Top 10.

Damn! Clear cut through the ridiculous bias from the OP.

Pats didn't even enter his mind before creating the thread and as the list goes on and on and on ..... And as the Eagles pair has done absolutely nothing in their career to even earn mention among these others.

Like.... A pro bowl?..

All pro? ... Lead ANY star category in their position?.......maybe earn a consideration to be double teamed or even shade coverage their way.

Or earn enough respect for a d coordinator to call them by name instead of their jersey number..

Hell their own o coordinator probably still calls them by their number

I just expect some sort of

Aw hell forget it.
