I still have a ton of 30 for 30s on my DVR

I think I've only watched 2 of those (ever). The one about the USFL and the one about Len Bias. I grew up about 5 miles from the University of Maryland campus in the 70's and 80's and my father had Terps season tickets, right at mid court facing the benches. So I grew up going to Maryland Basketball games and got to see Len in person. Jordan too, as well as Ralph Sampson and various other college stars from back in the day.

But Bias was a local 'hero' of all the kids that I grew up with. My best friend lived about a block away from him. After he died, he and I went over to the house and talked to his mother for a couple of hours, even got her to come to our school for an assembly.

That's awesome! The Bias one was good. Idk if I saw the USFL one. I saw both of the U ones that were good. The Marcus Dupree one and the Reggie Miller vs New York ones are two good ones too, the Miller one being my favorite so far. Also the one with Drazsn and Vlade Divac! I wanna see the XFL one and the Ric Flair one that I heard should come out soon. Those 30 for 30s are great for passing time.

So will they show Aguayo getting cut this Tuesday or next Tuesday? I've never followed Hard Knocks before but it'd be interesting to see if I knew when it'll be shown.

They did have it all there, from the start of the episode they showed him struggling in practice, to the game vs. Cincy and his misses, to the coaches sitting in the office on Saturday morning talking about how they need to just get rid of him now rather than later, to him sitting in the hot seat while the coaches tell him that he's being released. Right down to him cleaning out his locker, getting into his driving away from the team facility.

I ended up missing the episode but I saw the clip where they told him. I wanna go back and watch it if I can. Hopefully I can find it on YouTube or something lol. I don't understand how a kicker can't translate his game to the pros. Both him and Nugent were so hyped up.

I think it's because he carries the pressure of being drafted so high, it just Fed with his nerves.  I think he'll end up being successful for the Bears

Your best bet might be to download a torrent.

So far Gerald McCoy has been Hard Knocks MVP. The guy is great to watch on screen with so much charisma.

I agree, he seems genuine and kind. He also is very modest he doesn't think he is all that athletic or anything he thinks he just has to out work everyone. Then he was helping the rookies carry the helmets and stuff. He is awesome

Absolutely! He's brilliant.

I loved the whole celebration thing with the officials.

"Is this too much? How about this? Is this too much?"

Yeah, McCoy seems like a good guy. I enjoyed the segment that they did on his Super Hero collection/hobby.

Joe Dirt/Fabio also looks like he's the 'rookie' star of the series for this year. We'll see if he makes the team but he seems like he's got a good handle on what's going on with the playbook and team.

I thought Joe Dirt was over playing it ..... He was the type of guy we would tell to shut the hell up   and Code Red him if we got a chance .

I saw it differently, being the 'QB of the Defense', he has to take a leadership role when he's on the field. You want that from a player, especially if you see it from a rookie.

I'm sure there's 'opposing fans' on this board who thought that Dawk 'over played' it and would want to code red him as well. So it's all a matter of prospective and how you look upon someone who takes on any sort of leadership role.

Not saying there is anything wrong with what he is trying to be .  It seems over played and fake at times ... you know while the cameras are rolling .   He is  I think 3rd string atm ?   I dunno , Im usually pretty spot on  when it comes to people liek this

I do find Joe Dirt a little too much. He's definitely the kind of guy who I'd tell to tone it down if I were a team mate. But he's talking a good game and he's supporting his team mates. It's the kind of thing he needs to do in order to make the roster because talent wise he's not quite got it. But fair play to him he's third string and he's making an impression. Not the kind of guy I'd choose to socialise with but I'm sure he doesn't care about that.

This show always reminds me of how quiet I was during football...unless someone else tried talking sheet first. Then I would run my mouth at them throughout the game

Winston does seem like a good guy, after seeing him these past few weeks.

I half wish the Eagles would do Hard Knocks one of these years. On one hand, I'd hate the distraction, but on the other hand, I'd love having 5 episodes of behind the scenes footage from Nova Care.

Yeah he seems like a really good guy who wants to try and take the leadership role on that team despite only heading in to his third year in the NFL.

I think he's a really good player with all the skills to go on to the next level and become one of the best QBs in the league. But he's got to start making better decisions at times on the field. From time to time he still tries to force things too much.

His fall is completely shocking. Aguayo's junior season was the greatest year for a kicker that I've ever seen.

Just finished the final episode a few minutes ago. Not a bad season. Sucks for them (and the Dolphins) that they now have a week 1 bye and 16 straight games after that, but that's how the NFL used to be. There once was a day where there was no such thing as a Bye week.
