Thoughts on Today's Other Games

Jets/Chiefs is interesting.

Jags D is looking crazy good.

Bills are crushing Brady with excellent pressure up the middle.

Jimmy G has a cannon.

A Minnesota loss is huge because that puts Philly firmly in the drivers seat for the #1 seed.  They could lose a game and it wouldn't matter.

ATL Minnesota and Rams Cards is all I’m looking at. We need ATL and Cards W!

If minn. Wins today and by some chance something stupid happens and the eagles come up short tonight..we would be 2nd in the coference just like that. But I think the Eagles will blow out Seattle. This years team is stupid good.

We don't face the Vikings, and personally prefer to face them at the Linc if and when the time comes.  Their win today, keeps the pressure on Philly to get the job done on this west coast road trip.

With the Packers getting the OT win today, they keep their playoff hopes alive and maybe just maybe Rodgers will come back to make that week 15 match-up with the Vikings much more interesting!!!

Thinking ahead a little.

Watching New England.....we will beat them like a drum.

Watching KC....what happened to them?

The Chiefs head coach happened to them.  They are fine there.  Time's yours.

Actually, if we lose an NFC game, that's where Minnesota would leapfrog us. As of now, we can afford a loss to Oakland, but no NFC team unless the Vikes lose an NFC game.

That’s where I’m confused because they already did

to Det early in season

If we lose our next two games, and the Panthers beat the Vikings in a couple of weeks, and we both go 13-3 Eagles have the #1 seed.

I should have reworded that to say 'another' NFC game.

What I read a day or so ago, if the Vikes have something like a .450 strength of victory, whereas we have a .375 strength of victory.

So that’s where I’m confused then

what does strength of victory mean?

is it related to strength of schedule or points differential?

I believe the combined winning percentage of the teams you've beaten.

Ok

for common games, can we count Washington twice? And can Minnesota count Chicago twice  (2nd game pending) ?

I believe that tie breaker gets skipped because you need a minimum of 4 common games, which I don't think we'd meet. Outside of the Bears and Redskins, I believe Carolina may be our only other common game.

Isn't division record in there somewhere?
