Yea I think they should have ran it until they were in FG range and go for it

Yeah.... you at least give Fournette a shot with those timeouts left.

will be interesting to see if Gronk is playing come the second half

The NFL will call it a stinger and he will be back. There is no way the NFL will let the Pats not have one of their best players in a game of this magnitude.

They're getting the ball back to start the 3rd quarter.

You know I thought the same thing. I mean I guess you could say that's the right call? Your defense is the reason you win games so you lean on them. You're also getting the ball to start the second half.

But I can't help but feel that Belichick is going to a) make adjustments and b) he's going to be in that locker room letting his players know that now they have Jacksonville playing scared.

Horrible pass interference call.  Complete BS

Refs need to be held accountable for things like these just like players are.

Exactly. Can't do that against Belichick and T. Brady.

2 timeouts with 55 seconds and a really good run game. They played scared

Nah, it's smart. They get the ball first in the 2nd half.  One bad play and they could be behind at half.  They can go to the locker room with the lead and come out swinging again.

55 seconds, and 2 timeouts at the 25. Their offense has been near unstoppable. Plenty of time to try for 3.

You're probably right. But they'll be playing with fire if they let him play. If symptoms surface after the game...

Right. Play for a double score.

I think if his hands weren't on him he wouldn't have been flagged. The Pats receiver was going out of bounds but the Jags player had hands on him

Disagree. They are playing on the road against a team that historically takes advantage of mistakes and Jax are probably playing against the refs.  If something bad happens there, they are behind.  They can feel pretty good about things right now.  Two penalties helped NE. So, they can be relatively happy right now that they have the lead.

a costly delay and some homer hankies keep it a tight one.  CONKkowski's absence could prove telling.  Jags are dirty, Brady could be next.....................

I'm with you here. Bouye gave the official a decision to make. It was a soft call for sure! But Bouye doesn't need to put his hands on him. Cooks is going out of bounds, the ball is not going to be caught. Just use your head and keep your hands off the receiver.

Yeah, I think they sensed a bit of a shift on momentum, and they are getting the ball to start the 3rd quarter anyway.
