I think he's just not happy playing for the Patriots anymore. He already has rings, fame, money, stats etc, likely if he was to retire today he'd still get in the hall of fame despite his shortened career because he dominated the tight end position like no other. So what does he have left to play for? If he's not having fun with the Patriots then why even play. Then throw in his recent injury history and you can see why.

Its likely that if he was traded he'd be rejuvenated. Possibly to prove that he can thrive in a system where Brady isn't the QB or Belichick is the coach... and where he'd be allowed to be himself.

Stay tuned Buoys & Gulls . . . this could get interesting:

Yea after almost 20 years, there will be a point when "things will start to wear on you,."

Brady is likely frustrated with Belichick's routine, but while Brady may be the GOAT, he's still human.

There has to be a point in any endeavor where much has been invested (time & effort) and much has been done

(Super Bowls Won) and much benefit has been derived. (millions upon millions of $$. )

At what point after 20 odd years does one (Brady) say, "Y'know what?  Enough is enough!"

Maybe this is that point for him.

Danny Amendola said in his news conf. after signing with the Fish that BeliCHEAT was an A-Hole.

Gronk said as much as he celebrated the 'escape' of another one of their players to Free Agency.

I recall when Gruden's 'Chucky' act wore thin on the Bucs players 10 years ago.

On the surface BB comes off as the bad guy.  But make no mistake.  He has a job to do. And that’s to win championships. He has Done it time and time again with a variety of players. BB is the Ultimate company man and he does his job well. Kraft owes him that respect.

Players come and go and that’s the nature of the business.

I think Tom, gronk and the fans for that matter should keep the pissing about B.B. down to a minimum and be thankful for what they had/have.

And this is coming from someone who can’t stand B.B.
