Eh, I mean the guy was SB MVP and it was like a for real SB MVP not the Eli kind. I can see him being number 1 until Wentz is healthy and does the same. I’m fine with it.

1 game is clearly Foles (he just had back to back 2 of the greatest final 4 QB games in NFL history)

The next 10 years it's Wentz.

Right now it's Manning until another QB in the division can prove themselves to be. Looking back at the SB, that was the worst Patriot team to play in it that the Eagles won. their defense was terrible unlike the two teams Eli played against. let's see what happens down the road, then compare on a better scale.

Lol. After week 4 the Patriot defense was pretty good last year.  And Eli didnt have to score close to 40 points win. So its apples to oranges.

Not to mention right now Eli is old, in decline and not the same player that won either of those superbowls so who cares about 5 year ago Eli in this conversation.

Let's do a little fact checking on that, shall we?

2017 Patriots Offensive Rankings:
Points 2nd
Yards 1st

2011 Patriots Offensive Rankings:
Points 3rd
Yards 2nd

2017 Patriots Defensive Rankings:
Points 5th
Yards 29th

2011 Patriots Defensive Rankings:
Points 15th
Yards 31st

2017 Point Differential Ranking:
1st

2011 Point Differential:
3rd

2017 Yardage Differential:
9th

2011 Yardage Differential:
10th

The 2007 team was the best in the league and had an epic choke, so I won't take anything away from that Giants team. As much as I hate the Giants, I wasn't unhappy that the 18-0 Patriots had the most epic choke job in the history of choking. But at least try to be accurate when you post.

Foles was undoubtedly the MVP of the Super Bowl. The Eagles defense got shredded (I almost thought it was Eli back there at QB), but that doofus had an answer every time.

You calling Nick a doofus?

Not only were the 2017 Patriots better than the 2011 Patriots, but the 2017 Eagles were better than both the 2007 and 2011 Giants.

2017 Eagles Offensive Rankings:

3rd in Points
7th in Yards

2017 Eagles Defensive Rankings:

4th in Points
4th in Yards

2007 Giants Offense:

14th in Points
16th in Yards

Their Defense:

17th in Points
7th in Yards

The 2011 Giants Offense:

9th in Points
8th in Yards

Their Defense:

25th in Points
27th in Yards

:lol::roll:

Both Giants teams would quickly and easily stomp the 2017 Eagles out. Man that would have been fun to watch Strahan, Tuck and Osi eat Nick the doofus Foles alive.

Both recent Giants SB runs > Eagles 2017

Faced much better teams.

Underdogs in most games.

No comparison.

But hey, congrats. ??

Do you really need me to post all those ridiculous Eli photos ? I think Nick outgrew his Napoleon Dynamite look.

Nick looks more like the dude from Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Westworld.

Alright Foles is a mix of them both. Hes goofy lookin at times...

Eli is still king doofus of the NFL. ?

Ha, no doubt. Eli is the doofus to rule all of the doofuses. No one will ever eclipse his level of doofus. Not only is Eli funny looking, but I’m convinced he’s the worst athlete in the entire league.

Meh. 2017 Eagles would beat all 4 Giants superbowl teams simultaneously.

Foles has 39 starts, which barely even qualifies as a career. Hat tip to the guy for denying Brady and the city of Boston a championship, but you just can't compare Foles' career with Eli's....and I am NOT a big Eli fan. If they Giants announced they were going with Webb to start the season I'd be fine with it.

His point is in one 16 game season eli threw nearly as many ints as foles entire 39 game career.

Eli did it at age 27, Foles is 29.

Eli did it in season 4, Foles took 6 seasons.
