Hey Alvin!

Recommended Posts

They are the worst fan base in all of sports.

They spent the entire game cheating, not the team... the fans.

There was also a PoS who would double middle finger the camera after extra points.

cmon, its not like he is 1-5 on the road in the playoffs.

At least he has never lost at home in the playoffs ... oh, wait.

He was throwing prayers and ducks all game and it was a miracle that he did not have 3 picks.

  • What should have happened on that penalty no-call play is that NRC should have looked for the ball and taken the pick to the house.
  • The dropped TD was another easy interception but one Ram blocked the other Ram from the ball.
  • Another ball went through the arms of another Rams db.

I am so glad that all the turds who thought he deserved to be anointed this year were disappointed.

He just can't get it done in the playoffs. A qb of his stature to make only 1 SB appearance...

I’ll defend Brees on this - it is hard to make the Super Bowl if your defense isn’t very good.

Having said the above, Brees made some poor throws coming down the stretch against the Rams that weren’t fully reflected in the game statistics.

Peyton Manning had horrible defenses in Indy and went to 2. Even the 1st SB with the Broncos his defense was mediocre and played without Von Miller

Peyton Manning was a better QB than Drew Brees.  IMO, no QB accomplished more team-wise with a relatively weak team than Peyton Manning.

I lost just a tad under seven c-notes betting that game, and I don't care, it was worth it.

**And btw, seriously? The Saints season-ticket holders are bringing a class-action suit against the NFL now? Man this country is a bunch of sore-losing crying babies who cannot seem to handle any adversity or bad breaks. Kind of like the Vikings fans writing the NFL asking for their $$ back after we were mean to them at the NFC Championship games. What a bunch of f'n snowflakes.

true. the broncos team that won was ranked 1st in yards and 4th in points. the other defs were pedestrian at best.

wasn't there some call in the 09 nfccg that benefitted the saints and helped send them to the super bowl ?

Wouldn't that make Brees overrated?

Manning averaged a net 12 points per game in 4 Super Bowls.

He is the king of 1 and done.

He sucks so bad in the playoffs that he is excuse proof.

Feel free to waste your time trying.

Inject some of your wife’s HGH while you are at it if you really want to relate to him.

Manning tossed a pick 6 in the Saints - Colts Super Bowl.

He had 3 TDs and 7 picks in the 2006 playoffs when his run game and sucky defense carried him to the Title.

Mannings 2 successful SB runs are among the 20 worst statistical performances in the history of these 53 Super Bowls.

He was mostly garbage outside of a couple Chiefs and Broncos games with Indy.

Brees is so far better than Manning in the playoffs that you should have to write a report comparing them to clear away the ignorance .

Peytons brother is better than both of them in the playoffs.

You brought up not having a defense. Neither did. Brees is overrated come playoff time. Just like Manning was

It would not because Peyton Manning was a better player than Drew Brees.  Just because both Manning and Brees will both deservedly be Hall of Famers in the future does not mean they are equivalent.  It would be like saying Dirk Nowitzki is overrated because he isn't LeBron James, or that Charles Barkley was overrated because he wasn't Michael Jordan.  A guy can be a surefire, no doubt about it Hall of Famer and still be clearly inferior to an even better Hall of Famer.

I was just comparing them for not having defenses to help them out

indeed

....and now the fans, once again, get to feast on their loser football team the entire off season. their pain and anger gives me a warm, hateful satisfaction. the fact that they were hosed by the refs in their own house as well was absolutely karma. and to our friend Alvin, your legacy will be recalled as one of infamous chokedom, noted mostly for mocking champions.....insted of becoming one. f off loser.

They were screwed by the refs for sure but they still had chances to win.

I'd be upset too but I wouldn't be demanding that Goodell award the Saints the win or restart the game.  Some of their fanbase are not going to watch the SB and instead bars will show re-runs of their SB victory over the Colts back in 2009 or whenever it was.  Their going to have a victory parade too.  Come on, gimme a break!!
