Cole Beasley: FO Pushes Who They Want To Get The Ball To

Recommended Posts

Could be sour grapes, but it honestly wouldn't shock me since we know Jerrah loves to coach from the owners box.

Unusual for a player to kind of call out the 'front office' (i.e. Jerry and his son)

Yep, look for him to be cut at the first chance.

Maybe he wants out?

I'm sure other teams know what he can do and would use him properly.

Can't cut an FA.

I wouldn't mind him out of Dallas. Damn he's annoying.

Well he's an FA, so with his comments here, not likely he'll be back.

If he leaves, which seems more likely now, he seems like someone NE would pick up.

He’s always been outspoken and on the verge of mouthy. I like the guy, put him with a very accurate QB and a decent OC and he can help teams. Dallas is a run first team, with two younger better options at WR it would be stupid for Dallas to pay him. Your 3rd reciever should be a guy that can play special teams and be relatively cheap.

it’s also interesting what he said about Dak, not only had nothing but praise (which is expected), but said that scheme does him no favors....

He knows he is not coming back and used an opportunity at some elses expense to justify his lack of production.

Shut your mouth and be a man. This team gave you a living when 25 teams in the NFL would have never given you a first look.

Well, the ONLY way I'd want Howie to even think about getting him, is if he adds a clause in the contract that forbids him from ever rapping, or any other type of verbal recording/communication that is passed off as 'music' or anything meant to resemble 'entertainment', until 5 years after his contract has expired.

Interesting! Things aren't very rosy in the house that Jerry built.

And in other news water is apparently wet.

But on a serious note this is a bold move by Beasley. Maybe he's trying to force their hand to get out and if so then fair play. Wouldn't want him here though. I mean he's a good player and all but he's a rat.

I just don't understand how someone thinks a public statement like that is productive.

In these situations, I always think back to a quote @Dawkins 20 made many years ago:

Twitter, showing the stupidity of pro athletes since 2006.

Amen. What's up with all of these grown men crying on Twitter and other social media outlets. That kind of behavior is reserved for 12 year old girls. Man up and go prove yourself elsewhere.

Well, yeah.  It's obvious this happens.  This is why I took Cooper each of his first few weeks in Dallas when they first acquired him.  You knew Jerry and Co wanted to prove they made a good trade and would force balls to him.
