Del Rio: Don't be surprised if Rusell Wilson is not with Seattle on opening day

It's like a Rb that hits 30, you know it's coming.

Maybe. Maybe not. He is a fairly unique player for being a mobile QB. What we do know is he is really good right now and if they trade him they may spend years looking for somebody that can do half of what he can do. Also, they won 10 games last year, it's not like they are in rebuild mode.

Getting close to his deadline and it will start to get interesting very soon. I don't think you need to trade as much as you think. The guy is top 3 QB in the league with 1 year left. We don't know where his heart is right now but don't be shocked to see him traded for only 2 First rounds + players.

One of those players had better be a stopgap QB then because there is nothing left in free agency.

Then again the Seahawks keep crap behind Russell Wilson year in and year out. From Matt Flynn to Trevone Boykin to Tarvaris Jackson to Brett Hundley and now Paxton Lynch, the cycle continues.  They gamble on Russell staying healthy and beside that injury plagued year of 2016 (he still played every game) they have gotten away with it.

For my money, I think Del Rio's an idiot, but he did say that, so take it for what it's worth.

At best it's called:    A  REACH.

Something you bring up when you have nothing else to talk about on a 'slow news' day.

Since it's a slow time in the offseason and we're playing games, what do you folks think about Russell Wilson running the Eagles offense? Would it work? Or is he too much of a scrambling QB to be disciplined in the RPO?

Pederson tailors the offense to the talent. Wilson is talented. Pederson would make it work.

Well in all fairness Matt Flynn was supposed to be the new starting  QB. Wilson was just that damn good he beat him out as a rookie. And well Flynn turned out to be that bad

Right, good point. Thank God Russell turned into the QB he did or else Pete Carroll's legacy would be drastically different.

That would of been ok with me. That's one less team that got a super bowl before us lol

Call it a hunch, but I think Wilson will be a Hawk on opening day.
