Week 3: Titans @ Jaguars

The first month of a season is always a little wacky. The Bucs were arguably the best team in the first month of the season last year and they were terrible when all was said and done. Yep, so a lot of football left.

Absolutely agree. In 2017 we started 1-1 and bounced back to finish 13-3. Tons of football left. No team has really settled other than the Pats which in itself is odd because they don't usually settle until later in the season.

I don't get how the media chooses its darlings. All of the pre-game was this ridiculous fluff about "the legend of Gardner Minshew II" when the guy has literally done nothing yet.  Minshew was just OK last night and Jacksonville basically won on defense. This morning, the headlines are pumping up Minshew's "success." Meanwhile, a guy like Foles has to play out of his mind and win Super Bowl MVP to even get recognition as just being half decent. I guess the lesson here is that you need to grow a porn 'stache and dress like a goofball to be considered a legitimate NFL QB.

He looked good in the first quarter, but he came back down to earth quickly after Tennessee adjusted. The Titans offense being inept is what saved Minshew.

So are Titans offense complete trash or Jags defense beastly?

I'D say the Jags d is pretty good. 9 sacks tonight yikes!

I just haven’t been very impressed with the guy since he entered the league. Always injured and when he has been healthy just hasn’t amounted to much

Be nice if they packaged him up with Ramsey and sent them our way

Not happening. Ramsey was upset that Marrone didn't throw the challenge flag on a play that Ramsey thought should have been challeged. But apparently the guys up in the booth didn't think the call would have been reversed. And Senatore the retired ref said it would not have been. So Ramsey got all bent out of shape for nothing.

But he nor Campbell are going anywhere. They are two key players on that defense.

I've never been able to figure that out either. Just seems that the media dictates who gets love and who doesn't. And that is all that fans need and they follow like sheep. Even when the player they are puffing up has done ish to deserve it.
This kid is lucky to have Foles as his mentor. They did show Nick on the sidelines last night. Depending on how this season turns out with this kid playing for at least another 5 weeks as to what happens with Nick, I don't think they can afford to eat Nick's contract..especially since they still have a huge chunk of Bortles on the books in dead money. To add another 33 mil from Foles if they choose to go with this kid over him next season would be insane.

I can't imagine Nick wanting to be someones stand in or back up again either. I think he will just go ahead and retire if that turns out to be what happens.

Oh, now I get why this guy is famous. It's a meme-maker's world, and we're just living in it.

I hate my generation.

I know that. It was more wishful thinking. I know Campbell isn’t going anywhere and honestly I don’t think they will end up trading ramsey
