Antonio Brown suspect in battery investigation outside Florida home, his trainer arrested: report

Quote

Former NFL star Antonio Brown is reportedly being investigated for possible battery at his Florida home Tuesday.

Brown, along with his trainer Glen Holt, was accused of battery by a moving truck driver who was outside the free-agent wide receiver’s home, ESPN reported. Holt was arrested and charged with one count of burglary and battery.

Brown was not arrested or charged in the incident. However, ESPN reported that police said Brown is a suspect and attempts to make any kind of contact with him were unsuccessful.

According to TMZ Sports, officers swarmed the home of the free-agent wide receiver who last played for the New England Patriots earlier Tuesday.

The latest apparent incident comes less than a week after the Hollywood Police Department cut ties with Brown following an incident outside his home involving the mother of his children.

It was the third domestic incident involving Brown in the last three months, Hollywood police had said. According to CBS Miami, the latest incident -- which included a profanity-laced tirade aimed at officers -- was the last straw; police told Brown he was no longer welcome as a donor and volunteer for the Police Athletic League (PAL). Police returned the unemployed wide receiver’s donation.

"We made the decision to sever ties between Mr. Brown and the Hollywood Police Athletic League,” public information officer Christian Lata said in a statement. "We did not want our youth to be subject to this type of behavior nor emulate the actions of Mr. Brown.”

Lata said that Brown used profanity in front of his children. Police said Brown’s donation to the 7-on-7 league was returned Jan. 9.

"These incidents have caused an irreparable rift between the Police Department and PAL and Mr. Brown," Lata added.

Brown livestreamed a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend Chelsie Kyriss and Hollywood police outside his home. Brown’s children appeared to be present as the wide receiver yelled profanities at police and Kyriss, accusing her of trying to steal a Bentley that was parked in his driveway after coming to pick up her kids for school.

Brown appears to be focused on his rap career as he faces allegations of sexual assault and rape by two different women.

Brown has not commented on the latest incident.

It’s to the point where I’m no longer laughing at the guy. Brown clearly has mental health issues.

Something took him off the rails completely. The ball obviously started rolling in Pitt, then it seems like its just snowballed out of control since then. Drugs? Something literally break in his brain?   And how the hell you going to catch a battery/robbery charge AT YOUR OWN HOUSE?!

Antonio Brown has 'locked himself in' Florida home as police investigate battery incident: report

Quote

NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has reportedly "locked himself in” his Florida home as police continued Wednesday to investigate an alleged battery incident that took place there the previous day, reports say.

Hollywood police public information officer Christian Lata said Wednesday that the embattled free agent has "locked himself in his house” despite multiple attempts by law enforcement to contact him regarding a possible battery incident involving a moving truck driver, USA Today reported.

Police were initially called to Brown’s home on Tuesday after the victim accused him and his trainer, Glen Holt, of battery outside the residence, ESPN reported. The driver had been hired to move Brown’s things.

Holt was arrested and charged with one count of burglary and battery. Brown has not been charged but remains a suspect.

The latest apparent incident came less than a week after the Hollywood Police Department cut ties with Brown following an incident outside his home involving the mother of his children.

Brown has remained silent on Twitter, posting a link to his music. He did, however, cryptically tweeted "They want my name slandered.”

Brown previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Oakland Raiders in the off-season. He failed to play a regular-season game and was released following a turbulent offseason.

He was then picked up by the New England Patriots for 11 days before he was again released in the wake of allegations that he sexually assaulted his former trainer and sent intimidating text messages to another woman who had also accused him of sexual misconduct.

He has since been an outspoken critic of the NFL and his former organizations, denying all allegations against him.

He picked the wrong state to lock himself in. This is going to turn into a standoff with the trigger happy Hollywood PD.

The way he's spiraling out of control, he's headed to a future in prison. Or even an Hernandez type of fate. I hope it doesn't come to that, but he just seems out of control and spiraling downward quickly.

Antonio Brown's ex-girlfriend files for sole custody of 3 children citing 'incapacity to make decisions' in their 'best interest': report

Quote

By Paulina Dedaj | Fox News

Antonio Brown’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his three children is seeking sole custody, claiming the embattled wide receiver’s recent actions have demonstrated an inability to make decisions in their "best interest,” according to a report.

Chelsie Kyriss filed a lawsuit in Boward County, Fla., on Jan. 15, alleging that Brown "continues to demonstrate an incapacity to make decisions that are in the best interest of the minor children,’’ USA Today reported, citing court records.

In addition to sole custody, Kyriss asked that Brown only be allowed supervised visits with the children, ages 5, 4 and 2.

"It is imperative to the safety and the welfare of the Petitioner and the minor children that the Petitioner be awarded sole parental responsibility, as shared parental responsibility would be detrimental to the minor children,” the lawsuit continued.

The lawsuit was filed just two days after Brown filmed himself yelling and cursing at Kyriss when she came to pick her kids up for school.

Kyriss released a statement on Instagram Wednesday urging Brown to "seek mental health treatment.”

"At this point the boys and I are working on building a new life free from any impulsive, reckless and unhealthy behaviors. My hope is that Anotonio will get help and seek the mental health treatment that he so desperately needs so that he can be the father all of his children need and deserve.”

Brown livestreamed the confrontation with Hollywood police - and his children - present outside of his home. The free-agent was heard yelling profanities at police and Kyriss.

He told police that he had evicted Kyriss from his home and only allowed her back to the house to get their children’s clothes and take them to school. He also claimed that he already had a restraining order against Kyriss and asked officers to jail her for allegedly trying to steal one of his cars.

A warrant for Brown's arrest on a separate incident was filed Wednesday night. Hollywood police were called to Brown’s residence Tuesday after a moving truck driver accused the former New England Patriot and his trainer of battery following a dispute about payment for moving Brown’s things.

Brown faces several charges including one count of burglary with battery, one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and one count of criminal mischief less than $1,000, WSVN reported, citing law enforcement.

He previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Oakland Raiders in the off-season. Brown did not play any regular-season games for the Raiders and was released following a turbulent offseason.

He was then picked up by the Patriots, played one game for them and then was released again after only 11 days in the wake of sexual assault allegations.

Brown has since been an outspoken critic of the NFL and his former teams, denying all allegations against him.

From what the ESPN article says, he went into the moving truck and tried to take the keys. The tuck didn't belong to him so he didn't have the right to enter it and the keys didn't belong to him so he didn't have the right to take them. So maybe that's the 'burglary' charge.

'He's Throwing Stones' TMZSports.com

TMZ Sports has obtained the 911 call made during Antonio Brown's alleged altercation with a moving company driver ... and the alleged victim claims the NFL star was high, and making threats.

We broke the story ... AB is accused of throwing rocks at a moving truck outside of his Hollywood, Fla. home and assaulting the driver over a payment dispute.

In the call, the driver -- who has a thick accent -- claims AB smoked in front of him and was under the influence at the time of the incident.

"The guy is high, he smoked, he threatened me. He's trying to fight, he throws stones at my truck," the caller claims.

"I'm trying to make delivery to the gentleman. I called him and told him he has to pay the balance for us to unload ... The guy refused to pay in the proper form."

ACTIVE SCENE WSVN

The call -- which lasted for roughly 30 minutes -- paints a wild scene outside of Brown's mansion.

The caller says Brown and the NFL star's friends fought him when he initially arrived because they didn't want to pay his drop-off fee ... and he said while he was driving away some 50 yards up the street to get away from them, Brown hurled rocks at his truck.

You can hear in the call, the driver eventually goes back to the home and receives $4,000 from Brown via the banking app Zelle ... but he tells dispatch Brown refused to pay an additional $800-plus for the damages he suffered.

The caller tells dispatch Brown was SUPER aggressive during the incident ... ripping his shirt and causing him bruising and an injured shoulder.

The caller also says Brown and his friends forcibly took his keys and opened the back of his truck ... and began "destroying" the contents -- some of which did not belong to AB.

"They are running like crazy," the driver says.

Eventually, the call concluded once cops arrived.

As we previously reported, Brown's trainer Glenn Holt -- an ex-NFL player -- was arrested for his involvement in the incident ... and was charged with felony burglary with assault or battery.

As for Brown, cops issued an arrest warrant for the 31-year-old on Wednesday night ... and warned officers to be cautious when trying to apprehend him, saying he has a history of confrontations with law enforcement.
