Your top 3 worst Super Bowls since 2000

Recommended Posts

The one the eagles lost. The one the Seahawks won and the one the saints won. Otherwise could care less about the rest other than 52 which was the best SB in NFL history.

Other than 52, I haven't watched a full SB in years. Probably since the early '90's.  I just don't care as much for football after the Eagles are eliminated.

I think that 13-3 game last year was the worst since 2000.  Rams offense was sickening.    Second for me was the Seahawks vs Steelers in Detriot .    Seahawks were so screwed by the officials and that should have been a down to the wire game but the officials cost the Seahawks 10 or 14 points.    Third, the Denver vs Carolina game was good defense by Broncos, but Cam and the Panthers offense was a huge disappointment.

2. the one we lost

3 tie: the one where the steelers beat the cartinals/ the one where the panthers beat the patriots

Broncos/Panthers was one of my three also. I was glad Denver won, but the game was very...blah.

Not necessarily in order...

Three worst:

Giants vs Ravens -  Giants had no chance vs that defense

Denver vs Seattle  - Broncos never recovered from that opening safety.

Bears vs Colts - Dreary, ugly, depressing

Dishonorable Mention: Seahawks vs Steelers - The one that felt fixed. It seemed like the league had an agenda, which was to make sure Bettis got the trophy in his hometown. Not saying that it was fixed, but it felt that way.

I'll throw in the three best:

Cardinals vs Steelers

Pats vs Eagles

Carolina vs Pats

Honorable Mention: Pats (16-0) vs Giants

The  only Super Bowl I've been able to watch and didn't. I don't know why really, maybe just had a premonition, maybe didn't care for either team.

I'd put the Bucs-Raiders in there, especially when you consider that we lost to the Bucs in the NFCCG.

I also came to say this one. The raiders should have never made it that far, that was just a stupid SB

Since 2000, what are your top 3 worst Super Bowls?

1. Colts vs Bears SB41 - a rainy sloppy game without a whole lot of action and not really a close game all the way through. Nothing memorable about it at all other than Hester returning the opening kickoff for a TD.

2. Seahawks vs Broncos SB48 - just an utter blowout from beginning to end. Nothing redeemable about it at all.

3. Patriots vs Rams SB53 - one of the worst games ever, but at least it was close for 90% of the game, which is why it isn't #1.

I was going to put SB35 in there(Ravens/Giants) but at least we got to see the Giants get crushed.

I was also going to put SB39 in there, but really I'm talking generally, not with Eagles fan colored glasses and talking about the actual quality of the games themselves.

Yea I think that you pretty much have it covered except I would put SB48 at the number one worse.  Nothing interesting at all happening during that one.  Atleast during 41 Hester ran back the opening kickoff providing some excitement.  IMO 50 wasn't great either.  Cam proved he was a one year wonder and Peyton just couldn't play anymore at that point.
