Jaguars to play 2 games in London now

Recommended Posts

Cue the London Jaguars speculation.

Notes from the article:

The games would be in back-to-back weeks

Home games against Pittsburgh and Chicago are blocked to keep them in Jacksonville

The two games will likely be around when the World's Largest Cocktail Party is held in Jacksonville

11% of the Jaguars' local revenue is generated from their London game

The Jaguars have territorial rights to the United Kingdom

They'll keep trying this to see if a London based franchise could work...

Simply put I don't think it could though. It's too impracticable for a full season. And play off games would add extra complications.

I couldn't do that man hehe. Maybe some of the Fulham fans will take a liking to the London Jaguars.

They are used to supporting an overall disappointing team with the odd season of hope sprinkled in.

East Coast teams flying there isnt to bad. Almost the same as flying to Seattle. But the west coast teams would get screwed.

London jags sound really friggin cool.  Jacksonville is lucky to still have 6 NFl games/yr.

Hmm I guess it does? Still don't think it's got the legit fan base to make it work.
